Comfortable, Functional, Game Changer for Travel Sleepers
I read the reviews that some said it felt like they were in a neck brace... and the truth is, you do feel that way to an extent. With that said, the Cabeau has been my absolute favorite head and neck support when traveling and I have gone through about 6 or 7 different options. My biggest complaint with other neck pillows was the thickness behind the neck. When you're on a flight, there isn't much room for a thick backing. Not only is this one thinner than others, it molds beautifully to be able to place your head on the headrest with comfort. It is soft and moldable and has completely eliminated stiffness from traveling and neck kinks and the constant adjusting of position to relieve one side or another in my back. While the sides seem rigid (and they are), they also support your head and neck completely. Even with the front closure having an inch or two spacing (I like a little air to flow to the front of my neck), my chin doesn't fall forward and my head doesn't fall to the side at all. I also use Apple AirPods when I sleep and they fit just fine, but a little too much jostling or adjusting and they sometimes fall out due to the slight pressure placed on the lower jawline, so I highly recommend just getting some cheap magnetic airpod holder/lanyard like straps that you can slide them into and put around your neck to ensure you don't have to search for them on the floor somewhere. The only negative I have is that the outside fabric will pull loose from the rigid sides a bit toward the back, but not enough that it is truly noticeable or an issue. Overall, the form, fit and function of this neck pillow is exactly what was described and does the job beautifully for any travel or situation that you need to sit up and would like to take a nap. Highly recommend for the comfort and solution for travel sleep.

Replaced my TRTL pillow - everything I needed
As someone who travels a lot for work, I’ve tried a lot of travel neck pillows. The one that worked the “best” for me was the TRTL neck pillow bc it kept my head upright, was easy to pack, and easy to wash. But I was always annoyed that it only had support on one side, so you had to choose which direction you wanted your head to lay. This Cabeau pillow is exactly what I’ve been searching for. It keeps my head fully upright the way the TRTL does, it has structured side support on both sides of your neck, so you don’t have to choose which direction to lay your head. It also tightens and adjusts easily for a snug fit. If you’re looking for something that is soft and all memory foam, this isn’t it. It’s more rigid so that it supports your neck fully without overheating you. The plastic portion is covered in some memory foam so it doesnt have any annoying pressure points, but you are able to feel the rigidity. This is now my go to travel pillow and I’m no longer using the TRTL

Works as advertised.
This is without question the most effective “neck pillow” I’ve used. And I use quotations there because it fits more like a C-collar that’s used for cervical spine restraint. But it’s very comfortable and it was very effective of keeping my neck supported during the flight. If you are looking for function over form, you have found it! Some people might think you look weird wearing it though but like I said it works. I would definitely recommended it.

The First-Class Upgrade You Didn't Know You Needed ✨
The Cabeau Evolution X is hands-down the highest-value travel pillow on the market. Sure, it’s a bit more expensive, but it’s head and shoulders (no pun intended) above everything else I’ve tried. The fit is fully adjustable (incl for long necks like mine), and has structured support that actually keeps your neck aligned throughout a long trip. Materials are breathable - don’t leave you sweaty during taxiing or mid-flight. This pillow delivers real rest in even the most upright, cramped seats and is a game-changer to transform otherwise uncomfortable airplane spaces into something altogether different. It packs down small, feels incredibly well-made, and frankly makes all those floppy U-shaped pillows or turtl pillow feel like gimmicks and toys. If you care about arriving rested and pain-free, this is the one to buy.

Looks good but received ripped neck pillow.
Just got the neck pillow today. looks great but there is a rip on the back of the pillow. there was no damage to the packaging and other items in the package are not damaged so i’m guessing it was a manufacturing defect. It seems comfortable and was really excited to use it on my next trip in a few weeks.

Didn't work for me
I have been on the hunt for a great neck pillow since I lost mine in 2012. This one does have potential for the right neck...but not mine. I put this one on for about an hour and adjusted the entire time. Although the plastic pieces are great in theory, it is too heavy for most necks. My neck was actually strained after wearing it for an hour; too heavy and stretched my neck. It reminds me of getting your hair braided and having to hold your neck for periods of time. Also, the plastic has to be positioned just right or it is uncomfortable. In my opinion, this would be for a man. Possibly make a version with smaller plastic pieces made of a lighter weight material for women and kids.

Versatile and transportable
I was a bit worried about how bulky it would be but it collapsed really well into my laptop bag for easy transport. The tightening strap was easy to use without having to visually look at it (could do it by feel and kept my head from dropping forward the way a typical c shaped neck pillow would. Material light and breathable and I didnt get hot. Fit well on me and my hubs who is much taller and with a longer neck.

it is a very good concept with lots of potential but there are some major flaws one of which is not having enough padding. Wearing it for 5 minutes at home, my shoulder and face started to feel the plastic inside that acts as support. it is definitely not recommended for long flights. it feels like medical neck guard after fastening the front strap. if they increase the padding twice as much I can see it can become very comfortable and practical. Quality of the zipper in the back is very low and its clear it wont last long. and it doesn't come with any bag our pouch which is very strange for this price tag of travel pillow. They expect you to pay and buy the bag on their website. greedy much?

LOVE this, I’ve tried many travel pillows with very little success but I got a good six hours sleep on a long haul flight with this one (I rarely get more than one hour!) I’m a petite 5ft 4 so the fact that this was so easy to adjust definitely helped! Only downside is that it doesn’t have a bag or a good way to fold it to be smaller

Just came back after a travel. The foam is cushiony but the plastic vents have fallen out in the first hour of usage and the plastic ring has also fallen out. I do not recommend this item The company contacted me an issued a full refund for the broken item, which was very nice :)

Best pillow for me (and I've bought a few). Support in the front and sides without too much bulk on the back.
