ONE Protein Bars, Fruity Cereal, New and Improved Recipe, Gluten Free Protein Bar with 20g Protein and only 1g Sugar, Snacking for High Protein Diets, 2.12 Ounce Pack (12 Count)

According to Amazon, I have bought this 8 times. It was for more than a year my quick breakfast to eat without cooking anything. I used to buy a different brand of protein bars, but wanted to switch to something with less sugar. The sugar alcohols seemed to be better, but they have digestive side effects. Some time after starting to eat these regularly, I noticed that my digestion was acting up, with strange gas production and irregular digestion. This was during the late stages of covid so I thought that might be the reason, but it continued for a long time. I then thought it was just an annoying side effect of getting older, and tried to live with it. Then I read something that said maltitol can affect your digestion, so stopped eating these bars to see what would happen. The issues went away almost immediately. I still had several boxes left, and would have maybe one bar or less per week, which did not cause problems. But one week when I decided to try eating them several days in a row, the gas and digestive issues came back. I am going to finish these off very gradually and not order any more, or any other bars with sugar alcohols.

Probably a “good for you” snack bar buy but had just one and I was done . I did not like to flavor or the texture of the bar. I was searching for a high protein source, which this bar does have. I have found better alternatives .

It's hard to find protein bars that are good, especially this flavor. My niece loves a little piece off of them, so they're definitely good on flavor profile.

The authentic Froot Loops taste, combined with the high protein content, makes these bars a standout choice. I highly recommend them and will definitely be adding them to my regular snack rotation.
