yes it is a semi solid "block" of guava , this is the original guava paste not some cheap knock off, it is very good, authentic

Q: This can use for baking

yes, i used it to make guava pastries. it works better if you'l put it in the blender and thin it to jelly consistency. i used the bottled guava nectar but suppose water would work just as well.
