A must-have in any reptile first aid kit, expensive but worth the purchase in the case you ever need it as mites can quickly get out of control like any other pest -the fleas of the reptile world. Although I haven’t had the misfortune of needing to use it yet, it was a huge stress-reliever to have on hand when bringing home my most recent snake as I wasn’t sure what condition they would arrive in due to purchasing online. I was lucky they arrived in perfect condition but this helped to give another layer of reassurance in that just-in-case scenario. I would reiterate with the comments of others in that the instructions are a bit unclear but the main idea is that you only need to use a little and the brunt of the solution is the water you add though I am a little disappointed that there is no specific measurement on how much water should be added to dilute the concentrated treatment -especially as there are chemicals involved. I would also recommend doing this in a box rather than a bowl and adding something in the middle for your snake to cling onto. Not only this, but the monthly dosage seems a little excessive. Frequent baths can stress snakes out and I’d recommend only using the solution or bathing your snake if it is needed rather than as a precaution, especially considering that the main cause of mites is spread from other (usually new) snakes, not out of thin air… Other than that though, it seems like it would be a pretty effective solution and I am very glad to have it on hand in the rare circumstance that we get a pest infestation.

We ordered this as our friends corn snake developed little mites hanging around and generally making a bit of a mess in the tank. The instructions are a little ambiguous whereby you have to add 10 ml to a "bowl" and then install your reptile in the bowl and wet the body apart from the head. Depending on the size of your reptile this could prove difficualt but for us it was no problem as just used a large cooking bowl. It was fairly easy to cover the body as the snake was friendly and calm. After letting the snake dry we popped her back into the tank with some basking water. I awaited the report: The report was in!, hey presto, the mites have gone. Our pal was very impressed and told us to give it a 5 star review, so here it is. So this was used on a corn snake about 80cm long and in good health (apart from the mites). PLease be aware for items like this , this was our own personal experience and yours could differ but i am happy to reccomend this Naqua mite treatment.

I got this product to keep by in case I need it for my bearded dragon, luckily she doesn’t seem to have any mites at the moment, so I have not had to use it yet. Delivery of this product was not bad, I ordered this product and it was delivered to me 3 days later, so it does take a bit longer than usual Amazon products. This product comes in a 125ml plastic bottle, you need to use 10ml of this product per use, so in this bottle, you would potentially get about 12 uses out of it and it suggests using it every 4 weeks, so this bottle would last around a year. If you peel the label off at the top right hand corner, it reveals the instructions on how to use this product, these instructions are very vague and a little confusing as they suggest to measure out 10mls and add to a bowl, it doesn’t suggest what size bowl. It treats and prevents against mites, lice and worms. It has measuring lines at the top of the bottle, which I think is a very useful touch to it. It does suggest not to get it in your reptiles eyes, nose or mouth as this could cause problems, for this reason, to use this product on your reptiles head, you’re better off using a cotton bud. That can be difficult with some reptiles. It can be used with any reptiles. I can’t comment on how it removes mites as I’ve not had to use it yet but it doesn’t have any nasty smells to it and it’s very liquidy, so would be very easy to pour onto your reptile. At the time of this review, this product is £14.99, which sounds expensive when you look at how small the bottle is, but when you work out how long this bottle would actually last you, it’s actually not that bad. Overall, I highly recommend this product.

I like that this mite treatment comes from a local UK company, which is what spurred me on to order it. I haven't had to use it yet, but it is one of those things that you hope you won't need, but is good to have just in case. I have worked out that it costs around £1 per use, which I think is good value. The instructions are ok, as you just want to get the solution in a bowl, and dab it onto the snake while it is chillaxing in it. Dry the reptile after, pop it back into a cleaned viv, and you are good to go.

Used it on my Royal python today it was hard to use as it says 10 mil of the solution to one boll of the water but did not say what size the to put it on it says put the animal in it, but do not get it in eyes and mouth to use a swab around the eyes which, with a snake is not easy. The instructions was not very clear.
