Could get it to play need better instruction or need to return

The reeds that came with needed to be tweaked, shaved, in order to work. The instrument also requires a degree of knowledge to set up and get it working properly. I recommend buying a book that step by step tells you how to make it a functional instrument. It sounds and plays ok

Exactly as ordered, all there and fully functional! I've played for decades, these are NOT professional instruments, but they are good learning pipes. That's why I bought them, to teach BASICS. I love those reviews that say "the instructions needed to be more in depth!" People...when you look at a set of bagpipes, do you think "Gee, those look simple!"?! You need an instructor with ANY instrument...you can't tell from pictures, but there are 12 pieces that need proper assembly and maintenance! And they all need tuning, they all need to be properly setup. Don't think you can pick them up and blow sweet music, because you can't to that with ANY set of pipes!
