I understand this does not come with the rails, but what about the drive chain? i need one for a 12' door.

it only comes with the head-it has a gear on it for a chain.

Is it possible to get a 14 ft rail kit for this opener also ?

you would need to go to a door company for a rail kit, so if that was the case, you should buy the whole unit together then--this unit is only a replacement head without rails-made for a replacement to a present rail opener with a bad head..

What remote (for the car) works with a liftmaster elite series t501l5 garage door opener we recently installed?
