Yes,if you look closely at the picture you'll see a black cover, if it wasn't there you would see the brush where the handle enters it.

Does it also come in brushed nickel (for my other bathroom?)

What's the difference between the regular and deluxe?

I would not purchase this product. full stop. The handle broke off of my brush in the box, before i opened it and the sender would not replace.
