Great machine easy to use

Have used a comb binder in my place of work for years, now at home so needed one here. This machine is very good and easy to set up and use. It says it will take 12 pages but using 80gsm paper i wouldn't put more than 8 sheets in at a time, so a little more time consuming. The comb supplied are great for a small booklet but mine was only 60 pages and struggled to take this amount. Simple remedy will be to buy size 10 or 12 comb binders which are not expensive. Otherwise fab machine which I hope will give me years of use.

So far its been working well. Only used it a few times. Shame it did not have 2 handles. One to cut and one for the binding. For the price can't complain.

It really does cut 12 sheets at once and because of its construction you can then immediately put them in the comb where they are held safely until you open the comb again after cutting the next 12 sheets. This aids ones productivity and efficiency.The machine looks and feels well made and in my short time of using it I have confirmed this. I love It!A point not to miss, which I could not find in the otherwise straightforward instructions was that the small .movable lever at the back is not to release the PUNCHED OUT paper box but to adjust the distance the PUNCHED holes are from the paper edge, 3, 4 or 5mm. The chip tray just pulls out, no lock required.

This item is now in bits on my kitchen table having tried to rescue a trapped document. The handle is weak. Today was the third time I’ve used it. The handle broke. Would not release the document. On removing the pieces I could see that solder on the punch arm had broken. It’s almost a year since I purchased it. Pointless returning now. Avoid. It’s not worth a tenner let alone £60. Invest in a better quality model or do what I’ll do and use a whole punch and A4 folder instead. Anyone want to but some bonding combs?

I purchased this spiral binding machine for my business to attach together documents that I frequently read through.The build quality on this machine is excellent. The machine itself looks very professional and feels very sturdy.Operation of the machine is very simple. Select your paper size with the guide on the front and set the paper margin using the slider on the back of the machine. Insert your paper and pull down on the lever to punch the holes. Return the lever to the home position. Place the comb in the top of the machine and push back on the lever to open the comb, insert the paper and return the lever to the home position and you're done.This machine can handle quite a bit of paper at once and the combs can handle much more.It comes with 100 combs in the box so that should last you a while.

OK if you use the bigger comb's just don't try using the free comb's that come with it. They are a waste of time.

Great value for money. Easy to use.The binder itself is quite small so it is easy to store.This set is great for starter. Although binding combs included won't fit to amount larger than 25 pages.
