This hair styling cream is a bit lighter than the matt wax I normally use, and slightly less matt in finish I'd say, but I like it. My hair is mid short and quite fine and this cream seems to work well to give it a touch of texture and hold while still keeping a natural look which is what I usually try to achieve. The instructions say to use on damp hair but for me it seems good on dry freshly washed hair as well. I also really like the smell, it's subtle but fresh like a mix of summer and cucumber or something. I think for someone who likes just a touch of styling like me it's a good buy. I'll still use my wax on windier days, but for the nice weather this is great.

Nice matte finish and holds really well throughout the day. Smells great and washes out easily. A little goes a long way, so the tub lasts. Perfect for styled but natural-looking hair.

this is more of a paste than a cream. It is a bit tricky to apply, I just use my finger tips. It does loosen a little with the warmth of your hands. It styles really well, holds well and look like there isn't any product in my hair at all. The scent is minimal.

I had originally got this for my 12 year old son, but when it came some of the ingredients looked a bit dubious so I checked them out online. One of them was Diazolidinyl Urea - a formaldehyde releasing preservative that can cause irritation or allergic reactions. There were lots more with very long names that can all also cause irritation. With more and more people coming to realise that beauty products can contain a lot of harmful ingredients, I think companies like this need to start looking for safer ingredients, especially when products like this can be used by children. Not impressed.

Small glass container - White paste with no noticeable smell - Small amounts pea sized applying to short/ med length hair towel dried. Great hold throughout the day, matt look, small quantities needed - rub in palms and apply all done in a minute or two. No stickiness, easy to manipulate no white lumps in hair!
