Easy to use. Works well. Good price. Had never used this type of corkscrew before but there are many instruction videos online.

Better quality than I was expecting
This is a nice quality 'Waiters Friend' style corkscrew complete with a small foil cutting blade. The corkscrew is a nice, open spiral design and feels quite robust. All the metal parts seem to be made of decent thickness stainless steel and it certainly doesn't buckle, warp or twist in use. The scales are made of some nicely figured hardwood and are quite comfortable in the hand. The foil cutter works pretty well. The corkscrew has a two stage mechanism - the piece that rests against the bottle has a sprung section which allows for an easy start and then the position can be readjusted as the cork is removed. Pleasantly surprised at how good this is for the money. Recommended.
