This cleanser is amaaaaazing, seriously. I had been wanting to try this cleanser for awhile and finally got the chance when a deluxe sample came in my Oct Ipsy bag (monthly beauty subscription). After using up my entire sample I ordered the full size immediately.My skin is combination and has become super sensitive and incredibly prone to breakouts. This cleanser is gentle yet effective and thoroughly cleansing the skin and removing dirt without stripping skin of moisture. It smells amazing...like real, fresh picked strawberries. The strawberry scent is not that fake strawberry scent that you'd expect in a strawberry scented product.This cleanser contains strawberry oil, which apparently acts as a natural exfoliant (which is great for anyone who has problems with abrasive exfoliants) and contains antioxidants.This cleanser is more of a gel consistency and doesn't have a bubbly or soapy lather to it. The glass bottle is really nice but not travel friendly. You only need about two pumps each use so this bottle will last quite awhile.Even though it cleans the skin beautifully, if I'm wearing makeup I remove as much of it as I can before using this cleanser.After using this cleanser for almost a month my skin has been considerably brighter and less dull, softer, with less breakouts with a considerable reduction of redness. My pores seem tighter as well, making my blackheads less significant. My makeup evens looks a lot better on my skin.I also really appreciate and love the story and philosophy behind the brand so it makes me feel good about splurging on this cleanser.I'd recommend this cleanser for anyone with sensitive skin, oily/combo skin, breakout prone skin, and dull or uneven skin tone.**Update 5/16**Be really careful with these bottles. I've broken two and they SHATTTTER into tiny pieces and invisible shards. My husband broke a third. My friend broke a 4th. The third bottle even shattered after falling and hitting a fluffy bath mat and it shattered so much that it even exploded into my second bath mat next to my shower. Had to toss both mats away (and those weren't cheap either) because the slivers of glass were just embedded into the fibers and I didn't want to take a chance in not being able to get all of it out (I've already had the displeasure of experiencing a bad infection from having a sliver of glass in my foot without realizing and ended up being hospitalized for over a week bc of it. From something else, mind you).It's a pricey break, and now that it's happened more than a few times I just can't see myself risking another. I'm not the clumsiest person, neither is my husband. Yet, these bottles of this cleanser is always the thing that breaks in the bathroom. Whether it's on the counter, on a shelf, in the medicine cabinet, or during use...it doesn't matter. It gets broken at some point and well before I've even managed to get below half of the contents. Perhaps it's a balance thing when it becomes emptier? Don't know. Just... Be aware and be careful.***

The smell is amazing. I’m hooked. Smells like fresh strawberries. I am using cocokind cleaner for a pre-wash (to remove sunscreen) and then using this for the main-wash. My skin has never felt softer.I started with the travel size and went back for the full size. Love it.

I got this as a sample and fell in love with Indie Lee. The texture and smell got me and along with the natural ingredients is key for my skin regimen. It makes my skin moisture even. I have combination skin and it evens out your tone and I don’t feel like I am washing out all of my oils. I will definitely be ordering some more soon.

I began my Indie Lee cleanser journey with a full-sized bottle. When I dropped it a few inches onto my bathroom countertop, it shattered, gouging my hand in the process. I liked the product, the packaging, not so much. (I've never had a bottle break like that.)However, when I was looking for a cleanser I could take on trips, I was thrilled to see that Indie Lee came in a travel-sized tube. The cleanser was my daily driver during a recent trip to Colombia, and there's still plenty left for future trips.I like the scent and the way it cleans. I won't be buying the full-sized product again, but this tube has already become a travel staple.

I'm so confused with this product.I received a full sized bottle back in the summer in a Pop Sugar box and I LOVED it. I'm not the person that wants a cleaner that makes my face feel squeaky clean, I like it to feel fresh and clean without the tight skin if that makes any sense. It's been a long road of trying and discarding so many cleansers. I was elated to finally find THE ONE with this cleanser back in June. This month the bottle was nearing the end and I reordered it (direct from the store as Amazon was out of stock).The new bottle? So far it appears the clean the same (but I'm a few days in, I will check back in a week or two if anything changes) but my god, the smell. Before it was fruity - something I'd liken to a Strawberry Shortcake doll. A tinge plasticy but overall a sweet smell. Kind of lip-gloss like? Now? There's not a hint of strawberry and it's all plastic. I'm so, so, so sad. I hope this is just a mistake and they go back to the old formula because this makes me very sad. I'm going to suffer through this batch b/c this isn't cheap but I hope by the time I'm ready for a refill they've gone back to the original formula. It's also not appearing to treat my face in the same way as I'm suffering from more breakouts than I was.***UPDATE***I received a new bottle direct and it is exactly like the original one I owned. The smell isn't QUITE as strawberry as the original but not nearly as noxious and plastic as the second bottle. Despite the slight change in smell, the cleanser is back to working the same and my skin is happy.

Clean and it works. I have been using this product for a little over a year now. I love how it cleans my skin. I totally recommended. I am not sponsored nor paid for this review, I just LOVE it that much! totally recommend it!

It smells so good and makes my face feel super clean and fresh! I met Indie Lee once when I worked at Anthropologie and she told us about her product. She puts care into what goes in these, and I’ve been using this same one for probably 10 years now!
