Works as advertised
This wired charger works well, however the wire does kink if folded/stored incorrectly, which then makes it not sit well with the frame of the glasses. Once connected to either your phone or other power source (I connect it to my phone via the USB-C connection) it charges the glasses quickly. The only downside I've felt is that where these connect to the charging contact point via the nose bridge, it can dig into the upper part of my nose if worn for an extensive period of time. While the wire is very thin, it has held up well over the last month or so that I've owned them.

It works like it should.
Keeps the battery charged. Only gave 4 stars because the cord is flimsy.

Works well
Performs as expected. The wire can be run discreetly on the inside of the frame from the bridge to midway down the temple on the Oakley Metas pretty easily with the temple clip. Though it is less discrete with the portion that connects to the charging contacts in the bridge. Just be careful with portable battery packs and make sure the USB-C port allows you to charge from it. The one I bought uses USB-C to charge the portable battery, but only uses USB-A to charge other things.

Melted through the insulation
Not sure if anyone else has had this issue or what/if I did something to trigger this but I've had this cord for about 2 months and it's worked very well with the setup I use for my glasses at work, paired with a low profile power bank.. I've always had a concern about overheating using this cord with a power bank to keep my glasses at a constant 100% charge but it's never had any issues using it this way 5 days a week. Today I used my glasses without this setup and used the cord and power bank to recharge my glasses from about 30% and the moment I plugged them in, within seconds the cord got so hot it melted the insulating sleeve and the bare wire was exposed. The cord was now trash and I had to throw it away. Again I'm not sure what caused this but I don't feel very confident buying this cord again and will probably look for another brand..

Drains battery
Great idea but poor quality. It did the opposite and DRAINED the battery in my glasses instead of charging them.

Good Cable works great.
Seems a bit flimsy but it works great. I would error on caution with the USB-C end of the cable as there is no strain relief for the cable. Functionality, works great.

Great alternative to taking the case around everywhere

Purchasers Please Read
I saw what one purchaser said about cable/connector getting hot. Instructions for charger cable clearly say to not use the cable when glasses are at zero charge. Being an electrical engineer I read that warning as the charger cable can NOT handle the higher current required for charging from a low level. I personally would not recommend using the cable when the glasses are lower than 50% or 60%. The higher currents delivered by modern chargers is 2-3 amps which requires higher capable electronics that can't conveniently be built into a small charger cable. I will use this cable continuously connected while driving and only attach it when glasses are no less than 60-70%. Lower levels, use the case charger!
