I’ve used many basic hammock style seat covers, which served the purpose of saving my vehicle seats and interior. But this…this is the ONE! I have a Volvo XC90 and this cover is a perfect fit! The cover is well made, with a heavy duty zipper to pull the seat belts through, sturdy latches and material. The hard seat bottom makes it a stable and safer ride for my dog…whether he’s standing to look out the window or laying down. I love the strap that goes around the back of the seat…it is an added touch that keeps the cover from moving around. The door covers are such a great feature, too, keeping the doors safe from scratches and hair. The logo design is embroidered, not stamped., a classy touch. And if you are wondering…the doors and windows function just fine with the covers! I read a few reviews where people indicated the window inserts tend to pop up. I think the fix to it would be to put some Velcro on the underside of the inserts, to keep them in place. I haven’t had that problem, but I also just installed the seat cover today. My boy loved his first ride in it and he looked so happy and comfortable. This is by far the most thoughtfully designed seat cover I’ve seen. You will not regret the purchase!

I researched this type of product for days before settling on this one. This version is large enough on the bottom to fit the Toyota Highlander which most aren't. I love how all the pieces are connected and it folds out (helps keep everything in place) and it also has a storage bag. You can see from the photos I put a custom size dog mat on top for my old boy. The windows go up and down with it installed as long as you don't put them all the way down. I found if I put them all the way down when I go to put them up it pops out the plastic pieces from the windows. It only has to remain up an inch or so and I usually leave the windows up a few inches anyway. This is a great feature that most or maybe all other brands don't seem to have and was very important to me. The plastic parts are not scratching the windows. The door covers fit tightly with the velcro on the plastic pieces and the doors open/close with them installed. It's also nice that the ventilated center area on the front can zip down if you want to allow the dog to get his nose to the front. My dog and I couldn't be happier with this product!

I waited to submit my review to be sure I liked this complete setup as it’s different than any I’ve owned prior.Positives: Very easy to install but really they all are so moving on. I love the platform with the material being thick enough to withstand dog nails and easily supporting heavy weights while also being comfortable. (Mind you, I also added a thin dog bed topper but I have a senior with arthritis who deserves the extra cushioning) The zip down panel between the front seats is an option I’m thrilled having because you have the choice and you seat backs get drool protection! And the selling point for me… the side door protectors are great! My door panels are no longer subjected to slimy drool - yay!Negatives: the only negative I’ve found so far in 3 months of daily use is if I put my rear window(s) down fully and then raise them, occasionally they catch on the door panel keepers that tuck into the window slot. It doesn’t hurt the window but the glass pushed the plastic keeper up and out, which makes a loud sound and can cause the Velcro to then make a sound, both of which can startle my dog. I’ve learned that not lowering the window fully mostly eliminates this issue and frankly I don’t often have my windows down (only at lower speeds on good weather days) so it’s not a deal breaker.Overall, I am VERY pleased with my Ruff Riders rear seat protector with side panels and would definitely recommend it to anyone. It’s admittedly more costly than I originally wanted to spend but the quality and durability is definitely reflected in the price and worth it.

Really nice protector, not a custom fit but good enough for my needs (2020 STI). I wouldn't call it 100% water proof though. Dog had an accident and it was able to leak through the zippers (even zipped closed) and make it's way into the seat cushion.... I would suggest something between the liner and your seat for added protection. Protector is easy to machine wash and hang dry.

I can’t say enough about the quality of this product! I have a black JEEP and 3 German Shepherds and they shed!! Although I have an expensive brand of seat covers already, they don’t provide the protection of this product. It has the strong boards for the seat, protection for the back seat, backs of the front seats and the side doors. I was impressed the minute I took it out of the very nice company branded shipping box and saw that the product came in a nice embroidered and zippered travel case. The directions were clear, drivers side was labeled and super easy to install. It even came with the gift of a nice leash. Functional and provides great protection for my JEEP and my detailer will like not having as much fur to deal with. I purchased a separate blanket to complete the look. Such a well thought out and quality product!!

AMAZING!!! Never thought about utilizing the space between the rear seat and front seat-backs…holy cow does it make a big difference! We have three dogs and the added space is so valuable. Also love the way it wraps around the door panels, and has a little “skirt” to protect the sides of the seat when they jump in. The mesh center panel is genius. Although we have rear heat and A/C, the dogs could never feel it with the sling style cover we used before. Our pooches like being able to see me when I’m driving too which calms them a bit. (Car in photos is a 2025 Subaru Outback). Note to buyers: I would upgrade my seat restraints at the same time (bought the ones in the pic on Amazon too-the blue contrasts with the black so I won’t lose them). Note to seller: I would market this product in Outback enthusiast sites as it is a near perfect fit and 80% of Subie owners have dogs.
