Après avoir creusé mon puits artésien, j'ai été déçu de cette odeur présente. Le sulfure d'hydrogène à noirci mon anode en magnésium du réservoir à eau chaude. J'ai corrigé cela en remplaçant l'anode de mon chauffe-eau Rheem par une anode Corro-Stop et ça fonctionné. L'eau froide restait un problème. Quand j'ai finalement trouvé ce filtre j'ai été très sceptique mais j'avais pas envi de payer une fortune pour éliminer le problème. J'ai acheté le système à trois filtres de iSpring. Le premier pour les sédiments, le 2e pour le sulfure d'hydrogène et autres pesticide et le 3e pour la filtration au charbon. En plus d'une bonne filtration je n'ai plus aucune odeur d'oeufs pourris. Plus que satisfait. Ajout au 18 décembre 2022. L'odeur d'oeufs pourris est réapparue après 6 mois. Ça dépend de chaque puits. Après remplacement, tout est revenu comme avant, sans aucune odeur. Donc 2 filtres FG25B-KS par année dans mon cas.

Filter does an excellent job with my metals and the sulfur smell. I've been using the filter for 3 yrs and had a problem for the first time this year. The iSpring team, thanks Edwin, did a great job at resolving my issue quickly. I just purchased a new strainer to accompany this filter, it's an iSpring too. They are my go to for filtration.

Excellent product. Easy to install, so as long as you preplan the pipe route. This has improved the water quality and customer service is quick to respond if I have a question that needs to be resolved, specifically JOHN. I added an additional bone char filter to eliminate fluoride for the entire house and have two come to support this brand and have recently bout two shower head mineral filters and a reverse osmosis under the sink filter. Since having this product I only had one defect which would include a broken carbon filter which was most likely broken by the delivery driver but a quick email and a replacement was sent without any hassle.

Quite the ordeal ... I ordered the iSpring FG25B-KS High Capacity Heavy Metal Reducing GAC and KDF Whole House Water Filter 20"x4" and tried to install it in a genuine Big Blue housing. There's no "this side up" marking on the filter. Absent any direction I installed it with the white spacer ring up - consistent with the label's up orientation. Upon tightening, this ring slipped off the filter causing a mis-fit with the canister. Attempt #2 was to turn the filter over, as the white spacer ring fit nicely over the fitting at the bottom of Blue's housing. This resulted in poor water pressure - apparently the white ring spaces the top of the filter to allow adequate flow. There was also an audible "snap" as I tightened it. (Upside down). Attempt #3 was to invert the filter again (white spacer up) and pay careful attention that nothing slipped as it was being tightened. This resulted in good water flow, but there was a gray-black stain to the water. See pic. I'm out $100 and will look elsewhere (pentek) for a filter to handle iron and the other metals. Make the silly thing idiot-proof. A direction arrow on the filter, a note on the label, and fit that white spacer better.

This is an excellent product - we are delighted with the purchase. In addition, the customer service of this company is outstanding - they will help with anything and we will definitely use them again in the future.
