Easy Setup
Some of the reviews indicated that setup was difficult or didn't work. I was able to setup and sync with an iPhone and Garmin Fenix within 15 minutes. I resorted to a couple videos on the internet, because the instructions provided in the box didn't specify how to sync with a Garmin watch. The monitor works great. I've taken it on two runs already and the real time feed to the Garmin watch has worked as intended.

Great Hr
Great for the price. Syncs to Apple Watch and I love it. Get the extended warranty, my old one went out and I got a replacement just in time.. well minus the inflation of cost.

Great for Peloton!
The Polar H10 has easy connectivity to my Apple Watch and phone and the Polar app interacts well with Peloton. Much quicker and a more stable connection than a wrist or armband monitor. Love it.

Intermittent failure to upload data. Follow up
I specifically bought this heart rate monitor because it can be used for one workout without being connected to the app. It is supposed to store one work out and upload it when in close proximity to the phone app. This feature worked well for about a month. Since then I have lost 4 two-hour work outs because the data disappears when it is trying to upload. Now it works only sometimes. FAQ does not have a fix for this and there is no phone number to reach tech support. An email to support is available with a disclaimer that they will get back to you sometime. I will likely trash this and look for an alternative strapthat has the same capability.Follow up: intermittent problems continued evev after going through there fix protocol. Battery life is much shorter than advertised. Now it won't even connect. Have new batteries. Uninstalled and reinstalled the apps. From my experience this is a very unreliable unit

Good for skinny people
Ok I know... I bought a heart rate monitor designed for runners. Runners are not typically known for bulk. However, when the Polar H10 is labelled M-XXL I kinda figured a guy who comfortably wears size L t-shirts would have no problem. I had to max out the band to fit me though. I'm 5'9" and 195lbs. Yes, I'm overweight, but definitely nowhere close to XXL. OK, enough about the elastic band being too small. Just trying to warn any heavy people to look for a bigger band or plan on wrapping this thing around your thigh instead.Other than that, I really do like the product. The app is super easy to use and it was a synch getting it paired. I'll be honest, I was initially unhappy I couldn't get it to pair with Samsung Health, but after using the Polar app I like it much better for logging exercises. So far all my use has been indoors since it's hot like lava where I'm at. As soon as I get to use some of the other options on the app I'll update my review.

Connectivity issues with Apple Watch 6
Can't get it to consistently connect via Bluetooth with my Apple Watch 6 (a supported device). When it does manage to connect Apple Workouts (via the watch) does not use it as a heart rate source (it keeps using the watch sensor).I contacted support with a detailed message of the problem. Received a canned response applicable to general issues (reset device, make sure it's worn properly, etc.). They clearly didn't read my email. It would seem to me that a large percentage of users of this device will be using a non-Polar workout app. Maybe a large percentage of those would be using Apple products. As such, maybe they should have explicit instructions for connection to these applications and devices instead of trying to route you to theirs. I had to resort to Reddit for instructions on how to connect to the Apple Watch. If you're using Apple products for your fitness tracking I urge caution if interested in this device.
