Amazing how much grip it has, it even improved my rock climbing abilities, able to go into more difficult ascents in the gym.

Our family is new to climbing and so I am not familiar with other "climbing shoes". Unfortunately, I was not able to get a picture before my son got a hold of them so they are a bit dirty. In my opinion, they aren't much to look at if you are critiquing the shoe overall inside and out on appearance. However, my son says they have excellent grip and apparently are comfortable to climb and jump around in. While I ordered them for climbing, he decided to try Parkour in them instead and said they worked great because they have good grip and cushion on the back of the heel and toes.
