I got these turkey tail chews for my grand dog because he’s had problems with eating grass and having skin issues along with ear infections so he’s had them for about a week now and he seems better. The only thing I didn’t like about this product is that it showed 170 chews per container, but it didn’t say in the description that you had to give more pills based on how much the dog weighs – I have to give three pills for my grand-dog that weighs 60 pounds which only makes it good for about two months and I thought 170 pills would be good for about six months at one pill per day, so I think it’s kind of false advertising. They could make that more clear in the description like based on weight more chews will have to be given to the dog, which in turn makes it become more expensive of a product to keep giving your dog. Besides the turkey tail,there are a lot of good vitamins and other things in the chew so that’s a huge plus. The true test is if he’s by our pool, where I have some grass around it, and if he doesn’t eat it then I will know the turkey tail is working really well! Also, I thought the chews were gonna be like gum drops and more of a treat like thing for him to want to eat, but they’re just flat half soft tablets and he doesn’t just want to eat them like a treat. I have to put them in like a piece of bread for him to eat it. So I think they need to make the tablets more attractive or smell better for the dogs to just take and not make the owner have to do more for them to eat the chews. I’m not gonna try one, but I’m gonna guess they don’t taste very good because when I’ve put it in his mouth all by itself, he like wants to spit it out, so maybe the manufacturer needs to make them taste better!
