Fit for everyday use
DISCLAIMER: I received this product (and a COOLiFY 2S) for free from TORRAS to test out, but I was asked for my honest review rather than being pressured into just giving a positive review without testing the product (not that it made a difference, I still love this thing!). You can check out my review of the COOLiFY 2S as well if you're comparison shopping.I highly recommend this neck fan for those working outdoors or anyone that needs a bit more cool circulating air in their lives. My take on this is pretty similar to the 2S, but a more "budget" version. Essentially, the Air has cooling, fan, and heating modes, with the difference being that the cooling mode has the activation of cooling plates, the fan mode is just the fans (go figure), and the heating mode turns the cooling plates into heating plates. All of these modes can have the fans going at the same time as the plates (heating/cooling), which is different to the 2S (the heating never had the option of leaving the fans running, and the fans can't be turned off in cooling mode without turning off the cooling plates). I don't know why you'd want the fans and heating running at the same time, but if that's your thing then enjoy! The material for the entire unit is plastic, but it has some sort of flexible material/components that allows it to be bent wider/skinnier and stay in place (sort of like a pipe cleaner). Make sure to clean off the unit each time you use it to prevent gunk from building up (I recommend 65% isopropyl alcohol). The battery consumption is a bit less than the 2S as far as I can tell, but the battery capacity is lower as well. Like my other review, I recommend having a battery pack in your pocket hooked up to the unit if you plan on using it for extended periods of time. You can see a rough estimate of the battery level with the three LED lights on the side of the unit, near the control buttons. There are two drawbacks to the Air when comparing it to the 2S, and that is cooling plate area and app connectivity. Firstly, while the cooling plates of the 2S surround most of the neck, the Air only has a cooling plate at the back of the neck (side note: the part of the cooling plate facing the outside, away from your body, gets oddly warm even in cooling mode. I guess this is due to the motors or something but it's something to note). Secondly, the Air CAN'T be connected to the TORRAS app for better control, with the only options being the buttons on the unit. Although this isn't an issue for many people, I like using the TORRAS app when possible to manage the mode power and keep track of the battery life, so it is something to note if you're comparing the Air and 2S (which has bluetooth connectivity and app access).Like I said in my review of the 2S (word for word), I would say that the 2S is better and worth the slightly higher price when more "serious" cooling is needed (ex: for mascoting/fursuiting, exhaustive physical labor, or other abnormally hot environments/situations), while the Air is better for those that use the fan for regular everyday use (like in a stuffy office, mowing the lawn, having fun at a theme park). Also, like I said in my 2S review, for context in regards to comparing prices (all prices in USD), at the time of writing this the 2S was $189 (5% off the listing price of $199) and the Air was $149 (-17% off the listing price of $179).Overall, I am happy with the output of this fan, and will use it when I'm relaxing around the house during the summer (because somehow a swamp cooler just isn't enough). I'm also definitely going to test out the heating when the winter comes.

Far better than expected
I work in a hot environment where it is impossible to stay cool, and when I'm not at the job site, I'm traveling on a plane. I've tried cheaper solutions (like fans that hang from your neck) and they're OK, but nothing beats this fan. It has three adjustable fan speeds, which is great (full blast is POWERFUL!), but it's also got a cooling feature that is shockingly good. The reason I mentioned plane travel is that smaller regional jets are very cramped and the last thing that I want to do is disturb the person sitting (very) close to me. When I'm on a short flight/small plane, I found that the cooling function paired with the fan on low puts out such little noise that it's almost not noticeable. Excellent.Other than that, there it's much to say - this is awesome and I'll probably buy my parents a couple of these for the coming summer months. I've only had it for a month or so, but it seems durable and is easy to use/charge (USB-C makes it pretty convenient). Definitely recommend.

Lightweight But Powerful
The COOLiFY Air is lightweight with a minimalist design, but packed with features. The packaging is luxurious with details about features on the back. Inside you’ll find a nice card in an envelope from Kail, the product manager. It’s literally as nice as a wedding invite. They put a lot of detail into this. The COOLiFY is packaged well with tape around the moving parts to insure that your’s arrives safely. The unit feels like high quality to the touch, and yes, it’s lightweight compared to the COOLiFY CYBER and models like that. But while the design is minimal, the features are plentiful. It features a heater, cooler and fan like its big brothers - just in a minimalistic package making it great for travel. This design carries the flexibility of earlier models with arms that bend to grip the neck and distribute the desired temps while updating the tech to modes that the larger COOLiFY has.I own multiple Torras products and this is another worthy one.

My Parents Love The Product
I bought one for my mom and one for my dad. They love it so far. We haven’t had very warm days yet. They will be using it a lot.Be sure to read the safety and instructions. Air conditioning should be used in 30 minute intervals. But, you can combine functions like fan and A/C.Also, make sure you get a model that fits the amount of time you will use it.The design is very nice.Disclaimer: I’m not the primary user, so please compare with other products before purchasing … I bought a second unit after seeing one of my parents loved it. I tested briefly and was impressed myself.

Game Changer if you can’t stand heat or humidity
Just finished a 1.5 mile hike in 85 degree weather with 78% humidity after an earlier rain with no wind blowing so basically something I would never do but with my personal air conditioner I walked at a good pace even uphill. My average heart rate was 117 instead of the 135 which is phenomenal for me because normally the humidity would make it very hard to extract oxygen from the air. I also listen to music or a book on my AirPods and talk to my husband but don’t notice the slight fan noise. Highly recommend this product.
