Great aftershave! I really enjoy using it as a body splash as well. As someone who wet shaves daily its really nice to be able to use a product thats as old school as Clubman. Smells like a Barber shop would. 10/10 its become my daily scent. I will purchase it again and recommend anyone who's considering it to give it a try.

If you are tired of using Axe and smelling like you just came back from an encore performance of the last Justin Bieber concert then you need this aftershave. THIS IS THE SENT OF PURE MAN! Many complain that the bottle is too small, and I would agree because I would bathe in this product if that were not illegal in all 50 states. The secret in the manufacturing process is rather amazing. Some believe that, and this is open for debate, that Chuck Norris cried one single tear in the distant past which was obviously the cause for the Big Bang. NASA and DARPA scientists collected an ancient frozen sample of this tear and found a way to replicate it in the lab. Clubman Pinaud is literally the purest form of Chuck Norris' tears known to man. There are some side effects in using this product on a regular basis, the #1 being the excessive hordes of women that you will be fending off upon leaving your house each morning. The second thing is that every time you open the bottle the lights go out and a beam of light shines down upon the bottle and angels begin to sing, which is not a problem for me however it wakes my wife up each morning and she is becoming frustrated, luckily once she smells my beautiful manly musk all is instantly forgiven!. The third is that the unicorn that appeared after my first bottle won't go away and he makes quite a mess in the apartment. Apart from that there is no reason you should not buy this! Behind all of the humor, the bottom line is that this is a quality product with a huge fan base. Think I'm exaggerating? Simply take note that this product has remained largely unchanged since its debut to the French market in 181o. It seems that in today's market a company's fear of stagnation, mixed with the often release of sub-par products, leads them to pushing a new product or fragrance before you can even finish your first product. I guess the team over at Clubman Pinaud recognize a good thing when they see one since their classic Clubman Pinaud After Shave Lotion has continuously been available for more than 200 years! Yes, I'd say they're onto something there! The fragrance is complex. When first applied it is aggressive and full bodied however after a few moments it reveals its classically recognized, old fashioned barbershop smell that will remind you of a time when men dressed and acted like men. Do not mistake my mentioning that the fragrance transitions in characteristics as suggesting that it subdues, it most certainly does not. The fragrance you get moments after application each morning is exactly what you will smell each night as you are brushing your teeth; a pure compliment as you will be continuously reminded throughout the day that you are a person who takes pride in their grooming and in their hygiene. Who should use this product? I will postulate and suspect that it is the same person who meticulously prepares their morning shave with an old fashioned straight or double sided safety razor. The person who takes care in mixing their own shaving cream and who appreciates the superior shave they could only enjoy with an old fashioned blade. The smell grows on you. It also stays on you. I put some on one afternoon, and later rinsed my face with water and then splashed on an entirely different cologne and the next morning I could still smell this stuff on my face. For those who complain that a scent doesn't linger long enough, this is the after shave for you.

I was originally on the hunt for something to help with razor burn. it seemed every time I would shave no matter how hard I tried to prevent it, I would always have irritation around my neck area. I read some blogs and opinion pieces and they all seemed to agree a good after shave, should do the trick so away i went looking for a "good" after shave. Then I came across Clubman Pinaud. This after shave has an amazingly large following, its impressive. I read some of the reviews, and quickly decided I had to give this after shave a try. I had a lot of high expectations after reading more of the reviews and watching a few Youtube videos while awaiting the arrival of my Clubman Pinaud. I was a little worried that i was going to be let down by either the smell, or the performance of the product on my razor burn. I can gladly say that not only did i absolutely love the smell, this stuff is amazing on the skin. I don't seem to experience quite the level of burning that some do, for me its a mild sensation, but it does tingle in a good way. I haven't experienced any dry skin using this, and it leaves my skin feeling softer than other products. Most importantly the tiny red bumps are no longer a part of my morning routine. I'm beyond stoked that my razor burn solution also brings a very complex and very attractive smell along with it. the smell is a powdery, clean, distinguished, barbershop smell. I was also happy that it didn't fall any where near the Grandpa category, verified by my wife, so no worries about being mistaken for anyone's grandpa. The smell is very far reaching when first applied, even then it is not over whelming, and slowly fades to a casual wafting aroma after 30 min. If you are on the fence about this product, just jump, you wont regret it. If you haven't herd of this stuff and haven't read beyond my review then you are going to be blown away by its performance. If you are reading everything you can get your hands on about this stuff like I did, I assure you, you wont be let down.

Das Rasierwasser duftet einfach klasse! Der Duft ist klassisch und hat den Kolör von Gentleman. Ich kann mir durchaus vorstellen, dass es nicht jedermanns Sache ist, wegen dem klassischen Grundcharakter, ich finde ihn nicht zu klassissch, sondern genau richtig. Diesen Duft gab es, wenn ich richtig leige schon seit 1810. Und ich muss sagen, Hut ab, nicht nur, daß er kräftig ist und länge hält, sein Duft ist komplex, konzentriert und vollständig, kein halbgares Zeug, sondern etwas für einen Gentleman, für einen Mann. Wie schon erwähnt, bestimmt nicht für Jeden, jedoch genau richtig für mich, es ist eins meiner absoluten Lieblingsdüfte.

I can't get enough of the fragrance of Clubman Pinaud. One of those things that's worth a lot more than its price. It's elegant, unforgettable. I purchased it based only on reviews and boy, I'm glad I did. Performance is good, lasts a few hours. Fragrance is somewhat similar to Brut classic, in the sense that they're both unique, different from other fragrances, in a classy way. They say this product has been in the market for over 200 years. I can understand why. But man, the bottle design and label? It looks like something that time-travelled from the 1800s to present day. Like a cheap pint whisky bottle. Eek! The bottle and label doesn't do justice at all, to the quality of product. I know Companies like their products to stand apart from competition but some take it too far. What I'm trying to say is, don't judge this book by its cover. I like the fragrance so much, I'm using it even when I haven't shaved. Recommended. After using it a few months, I find that performance isn't great. It doesn't last long. But I'm still giving 5 stars for fragrance alone.
