I purchased this because I recently relocated south, after years of living in the midwest. I also have a medical issue that makes me unable to cope with heat; my body literally will not self cool if it's above 80 degrees. I saw this on tiktok, and I did the research, and I ordered. Pros: Not heavy (all things considered), works well and as expected, easy to use. Cons: Doesn't come with its own bottle (why????) and you need a small screwdriver to get the battery door off. Which means I now have to carry a small screwdriver on vacation with me. Practically, the screw is good because you don't want the door to pop off, but it would have been great if it came with a screwdriver attached to it. General: The only available color on amazon when I bought was rainbow. Which isn't an issue for me since I love rainbows and don't care much what people think, but it's definitel not going to be sedate or easily overlooked. It definitely is cooling, which is amazing!!! Can't speak to longevity yet, but I'm hopeful this will make my summer walks more pleasant.

Ok. I just got my umbrella and specifically got it for sitting out in the sun during ball games and also when I’m doing my daily walks. This will be a true review. I won’t hold back about anything. The umbrella itself is nicely made, sturdy, it really does hold off the heat from the sun. Putting batteries in it was a little difficult, it was like the battery door was glued down and yes I removed the screw first Mine came with its own bottle so we filled it up and attached it. The bottle made it extremely bulky and hard to hold. Very weirdly heavy Fan barely puts air out but honestly the wind was blowing some so I can’t be 100% on that. Sorry The mist… it was nice until it leaked from the top of the umbrella. I understand the point of the mist was to feel water. But this was like big drops of water hitting you and you’re getting soaked. I will add pictures to maybe explain that better Is it worth 70$. Honestly in my opinion, no. I think a cheaper fan/misting umbrella would function about the same. If anyone has any other questions, just ask. I will do my best to answer. Hope this review helps. UPDATE- june ‘25 So it has gotten over 90° here and the umbrella doesn’t work so good when it is that hot. I mean it is better than sitting in the hot sun, but the fan doesn’t work at all when it’s over 90 like you can’t feel it.

I tried multiple different water bottles from a variety of brands and none fit. I saw another review had recommended Dasani bottles specifically but even that would not stay in. The threads are too loose and the bottle just slips right off. I tried the fan and that seemed nice. I don't do well in the heat but wanted to have more summer fun. I wanted it to sheild me from the sun, keep air circulating so I can breathe easier, and the mister to cool me down when I'm reaching my limit in the heat. Unfortunately it's not worth it if one third of it's purpose isn't functional. It's possible I got a faulty one but if that's the case they need better quality control for the price of this product.

So, I caved and bought this thing because TikTok made me do it—yep, faster shipping and all. Let me tell you, it's heavy, like it’s secretly training for a weightlifting competition. But hey, the fans work! They actually cool you off, which is more than I can say for my last relationship. Now, the handle’s thick. I mean, I’m used to holding something with less girth, so this was an adjustment. It’s like going from a toothpick to a baseball bat. But, they say you get used to it, right? Plus, you can attach water bottles directly to it and press a pump to mist yourself, like some high-tech plant. I wish it was automatic though, because let’s be honest, I’m lazy. But then it wouldn't be cheap enough for those impulse buys. And guess what? It’s a fantastic conversation starter. If you're as bad at small talk as I am, just whip this out. People will either be intrigued or think you're nuts, but either way, they're talking to you!

The hose that goes into the water bottle for the mister has a permanent curve in it making the stay near the top of the bottle. It is shipped with this hose coiled in the base of the umbrella causing curve. Tried reshaping with hot water but that did not work. It needs a weight to hold it down but who wants that residue sprayed all over them. It will work until the bottle is 3/4 full then it sucks air. Disappointing for Phoenix AZ heat. Fan works fine thus 2 stars.

Worked very well during the summer games I had to sit through while my husband coached tball. The fan and mist feature was a big hit with everyone around. I do wish I could find a clamp or something to attach it to the bleachers but maybe I just havent searched enough. Highly recommend!
