Two parts to this review: the slingshot itself, and the accessories that come with it.The slingshot itself is just excellent. It should literally last a lifetime with anything close to reasonable care. Very well designed and well made with quality materials. I really like the use of a flat band rather than the common surgical tubing bands, since a broken flat band can easily be made with an old inner tube like we did when I was growing up. The way that the band is gripped by the slingshot is rather ingenious, and should hold it secure without damaging the ends of the band. If I had to find fault, it would be with the rather short handle - however, there is always a balance between fit and portability, so I can deal with that. If this review was only for the slingshot itself, this would clearly be a 5-star rating, and I decided to give it one anyway since the slingshot itself is that good. It is just plain excellent and highly recommended. The sights, on the other hand, seem to be just added on as a marketing feature. There is a laser sight that is only marginally practical, if at all. Yes, it works, but anyone who has used a slingshot can tell you that a laser is going to be moving around so much that is not a help, but a hindrance. There is also an "iron sight" with a tiny bubble level that, again, is pretty much useless. The sight is designed only for those holding the slingshot sideways, and the bubble level is too small to be helpful. SUMMARY: If you're looking for a top quality, long-lasting slingshot, then get this one - just ignore the "sights" - leave them in the box and use it as you would an simple slingshot made from a forked branch and inner tube bands.

I'd like to start off by saying that slingshots are still relatively new to me. My previous experience was with one my dad had given me a long time ago. I used it, but I can't say I was ever good with it.This particular slingshot is very well constructed. I appreciate the feel of the solid metal. The flat band is superior to round tube bands, in my opinion, and the way it attaches with tightened grips makes it easy to replace bands in the future.The included accessories (laser and level sight) might benefit some people, but they mean very little to me in terms of getting an accurate shot. You can put the laser light on your target, but where you release the shot in relation to the forks affects where the shot hits. The belt clip is a nice touch as well, though I haven't actually used it.I deducted one star because I felt the handle is too short. I get it that it's trying to portable, but in my experience, a little more grip in my hand makes it steadier. It also starts to hurt my palms a little. An extension that can screw on would be a great touch.

We have a lot of slingshots at my house. I love them, so I got one for each of my kids. This one was for my 12-year-old son. It comes with many functional accessories. The pouch is leather and meant for steel or clay shot. The bands on slingshots like these are often on the weaker side, but these are pleasantly strong. Overall, we're really pleased with this kit.
