Heal Achilles tendonitis
Had Achilles tendonitis and Dr just gave me anti inflammatories and some heel pads for shoes. Oh yeah, bunch of worthless stretches. After 2 months of pain and no results finally did research and found a night splint is needed as generally most people point toes down in sleep causing tendon healing to occur in shortened position and instantly reinjuring once lengthed the next day.Within a week, pain gone. Yeah sock isn't most comfortable thing as it's awkward as hell. This one is more comfortable than others that pull on toes. Also nothing sexier than after having sex, be like let me put on my orthopedic sock, but it works.I guess moral of story is if you have Achilles tendon pain try it out. Also have sex before putting it on.

Compression tube sock Is a bad idea
Compression should ALWAYS come in a graduated form; contoured to the foot, ankle and calf. Having a tube sock with the same compression from the toes to the top is concerning for circulation and pooling in the ankle and foot. Worst case is restricted circulation and a blood clot. Also, I have long toes. The pad for the metatarsal plate was sewn too close to the toes and it looked squeezed together.I think it’s a novel idea but falls short in implementation. Less focus on integrated logos and more attention to the details.Graduated compression or no compression. Also the ability to adjust the strap location at the ball of the foot would be good. If you look at the customer posted photos you can see prominently displayed toes shoved j to the end of the sock. Wishing I had looked closer at them.Wouldn’t buy again nor would I recommend them to anyone else.

Good for travel and easier to walk in than most.
I have three different types of Plantar fasciitis splints.First, what do they do? They keep your foot from tilting down when you are asleep. When this happens, you experience a lot of pain when you first walk on it in the morning. I suspect that I was re-injuring it every morning before the splint.I used this for my right foot, and i no longer have any serious issues. Now I'm trying to get my left foot back in shape. The best for night time is probably the hard shell calf-height. With that said, its bulky, so I can't really take it when I travel, and walking in it, even a short distance is difficult. It is relatively comfortable once you get the adjustments made. Don't try to get it too tight, or you will wake up later. This one, the "sock" type, is good for travel and is the easiest to walk in. I had to cut the toe nail on my big toe short, because it would start to hurt if I wore it over night. I'm still fine-tuning the adjustable straps. Too much pressure on either side causes pain on the inboard or out board sides of the ball of my foot. I use this one if I will be sitting for a while, so that my foot doesn't relax too much. And as I mentioned, I can walk reasonably well in it, considering that it keep the front of your foot up.This one, and the hard shell one have straps from the top, down to near the ball of the foot, so it cant be worn under a shoe. The third type has a strip of aluminum bar, about an inch wide, and 1/8" thick, that you form to the right ankle. It is (somewhat) padded and is help in place with velco. This is my least favorite of the ones that I've tried. It isn't comfortable and it is only ankle high, so there is too short of a distance to exert the required pressure Comfortably. Also, on mine, the aluminum bar would slide down, making it painful. Finally, I cut two small slits in the fabric and super glued the aluminum bar in place, which fixed that issue. It doesn't have the straps, like the other two, but wearing it under a shoe still wouldn't work. I tried to wear it under my crocs, which are a little big, and even that didn't work.I hope this helps someone out there that is also dealing with plantar fasciitis.

Works well but prefer my older strassburg sock.
Nice brace and Works well for stabilizing my foot but the Velcro is too strong. Once it's stuck it s near impossible to remove. Hard to peel up the straps. Maybe I need to shave the end of the Velcro to create a handle to help.

Use this daily, great customer service!
The sock itself is very comfortable once you get the right lengths for the straps and figure out how you want your toe aligned. The stictching came undone where it shouldn't have. I contacted the company through Amazon and they sent me out a warranty replacement very quickly. Very happy this company stands behind their product and I will continue to buy socks from them as needed.

Hoped for the best...was disappointed.
I would not recommend this item. I had two big issues with it. First, the bottom strap is placed so that it rubs against the little toe. I guess this depends on how big your feet are, but I am a 9.5 ladies shoe size. After wearing it for a few hours, I had a blister. Second, the top of the sock is very, very tight. I am not that big of a person and I had a huge ring on my leg when I took off the sock. It was like wearing a very tight rubber band. Why wouldn't the company make different sizes? I mean, how can one size fit with people ranging from 110 pounds to 275 pounds? I will be returning this and appreciate Amazon's excellent policies.

Works great and healed my plantar fasciitis
My trainer recommended and it worked perfect. I had a horrid flair up so I got this plus a different one. This one worked. I felt slightly better after the first night but after 4 nights I could get up in the morning pain free. Only used for a week and my flairup was completely gone. Only problem is that it’s a magnet for dog hair and I’m worried what will happen when I wash it.ALSO — those straps are velcroed at the end and that Velcro is cement! I thought I had a defective pair and it took about 10 min to figure out the ends of the straps were folded over and velcroed. The Velcro is so hard to pull apart and so smashed together it actually looked like the strap just had an end on it with missing Velcro. I had to use pliers to pull the ends of the straps away from the Velcro.

Excellent product
This product does exactly what it says it does. Like other reviews recommended I put the sole of a sandal in the sock to relieve pressure on the side of my foot. I can't imagine that the more expensive products could perform any better than this one.

This product was ok but didn't keep my foot in the correct position all night.
I found the sock frustrating to put on every night because of the strong velcro that kept clinging to the wrong spot during the process of putting it on. Then it seemed to slide a little lower on my leg as the night wore on and ended up not holding my foot in the correct position. I find a pillow at the bottom of the bed a better and easier solution. I can then just brace my foot against that.
