Razer BlackShark V2 X Xbox Gaming Headset
The Razer BlackShark V2 X (for Xbox) has been a game changer for my gaming experience. The sound clarity is excellent footsteps, gunfire, and subtle background noises are much easier to hear and pinpoint, which really helps in both competitive and immersive games. The audio is well balanced and clear without being overly bass heavy. The mic quality is also pretty good. Teammates can hear me clearly with no distortion or muffled sound, which makes communication smooth during matches. On top of that, the headset is comfortable for longer gaming sessions. Overall, this headset is a solid upgrade and greatly improves both audio awareness and in-game communication.

Quality
I'm very picky when it comes to headphones and I will say this that they're very comfortable and user-friendly. I like the way they feel and they sound great there's only one thing I would probably say if I had to say something negative which I'm sure everyone is looking for ups and downs. I will say that the sound is really good, but the quality of the sound could be a bit louder other than that I cannot say enough good things about these headphones and also keep in mind that my ears aren't as good as they used to be so maybe that's the reason but I'm giving it five stars Because it's adjustable. It's very soft and it's a good quality headphone worth its money for sure.

Excellent budget headset
I think for the price I bought this for, they are an excellent headset. They are comfortable, sounds good(including listening to music), have adequate noise suppression/cancelling, and the mic quality is amongst the best for a “gaming headset”. The only things I would critique about this is its effectiveness in gaming purposes. I personally don’t like gaming with headsets that have noise cancelling. I like to be aware of my surroundings irl in the case that someone needs my attention and this headset tends to block that out. Another thing is how difficult it is to gauge your talking volume due to the noise suppression. This is a problem I didn’t realize I would run into, but I don’t think it is big enough to dislike the headset overall. In the end, these things are more so preferences and if you don’t mind them, this headset would be an excellent choice for you

Lightweight, Comfortable, and Sounds Fantastic
This headset has been fantastic. The sound quality is crisp and immersive thanks to the 50mm drivers, and you can really hear the difference in games where directional audio matters. Voices come through clearly, and the bass hits without being muddy. It’s lightweight and comfortable, even for longer sessions, and the mic picks up your voice cleanly without background noise. My husband and I both tried it, and we were impressed with how clear everything sounded. For the price, the quality is excellent. Easy to use, great audio, and super comfortable — exactly what you want in a gaming headset.

Don't hesitate to buy, great product for a reasonable price.
Excellent sound quality and very comfortable. The cord length is just right, not too long and not too short. The whole design of this headset is great. I would definitely recommend these for anyone look for an inexpensive yet quality headset.

Great Headset for FPS
Didn't leave a review for these when I purchased them in 2024, but I would like to now. Late to the party. With the expectations that no one will read this. I'm mainly leaving this review because I didn't know what I had until it was gone. I've been happily using these for the last two years. I play mainly Counter Strike 2, but have used these playing WoW and some other solo games. The sound has been great throughout all of these experiences. I have a big head (7 7/8) and the fit of the BlackSharks was great. They were very comfortable for long periods of time. The faux leather pads got a little sweaty, but I could have changed those if I wanted to. On Windows 11, these were plug and play setup. The microphone quality is good. I wouldn't use it to record voice over for work, but I've never had issues communicating in game, Zoom meetings, or Discord chat. For CS2 - generally, I can distinguish sounds if there are a number happening at once. If both teams show up and start firing it gets a little muddy, but still not horrible. The directionality of sound is great. I can determine direction and distance of footsteps/noises quite well. Last year we got a dog and he likes to mill around my feet and computer and has gotten hung up on the headset cable a few times (my fault for not having better cable management - not his or Razer's). I started getting weird static in the headphones and found a tear in the cable at the base of the headset. Currently I'm trying to find a set of headphones that live up to these. Tried HyperX Cloud 2 and the sound was super muddy and the directionality/distance was inconsistent. Going to try a Philips setup (mainly for the replaceable cable), but if those don't work out I'll just get another set of BlackSharks. Both the Cloud 2 and Philips setups are at least 2x the cost of the Razers now, so I'm probably not making great life choices.

Lightweight and comfortable
The Razer BlackShark V2 X is an outstanding budget-friendly gaming headset. It focuses on the essentials: excellent, detailed sound performance (especially with 7.1 enabled), and lightweight comfort built for endurance. If you can live without the removable mic and the upgraded spatial audio of the more expensive models, the V2 X offers 90% of the competitive experience for a fraction of the cost. It is highly recommended for gamers seeking a reliable, comfortable, and audibly sharp companion across all their gaming devices. Pros: Extremely lightweight and comfortable memory foam cushions. Excellent audio detail and competitive clarity via Razer TriForce drivers. 7.1 Surround Sound (PC) significantly enhances spatial awareness. Universal 3.5mm jack for maximum platform compatibility. Cons: Microphone is non-removable (only bendable). Lacks the premium build materials and THX Spatial Audio of the V2 Pro.
