I honestly cannot imagine how this product is being sold. I bought the Peanut Butter flavor of Kreatures of Habit, and it is one of the worst-tasting products I’ve ever tried. The bitterness is overwhelming, the texture is chalky, and the overall flavor is completely unpalatable. To make sure it wasn’t just me, I gave a packet to my fitness nutrition trainer to try — her reaction was immediate: “This is horrible.” I’ve used pea protein before and never experienced anything this bitter, so I’m not sure what went wrong here, but something definitely did. This product has no business being on the market in its current form. Anyone who buys it is likely to be seriously disappointed. Save your money.

I'm a fool. After ordering and eating KOH's oatmeal, I was instantly filled with regret for the decades I'd spent eating processed, sugar-filled packaged oatmeal packets or grinding through labor-intensive preparations for all-natural oats for flavorless, texture-challenged results. Kreatures of Habit's oatmeal is NEXT LEVEL. The preparation is incredibly quick, SUPER easy (add water, overnight in the fridge and you're done) and the result is a natural, DELICIOUS, protein-packed, beautifully textured bowl of elevated oats and other natural ingredients that I suspect will have other newbies feeling as regretful as I now feel for the years spent preparing and eating any other oatmeal product.

If you are comparing this to Overnight Oats brand, it's no contest. Kreatures of Habit tastes AWFUL. Taste is subjective, of course, but I couldn't stomach a second bite of the Apple Cinnamon flavor. It fell somewhere between the way I imagine a concoction of cardboard, gas fumes, and cat pee might taste. Really, really bad. Lots of protein. If you can't taste or smell, or just don't care (some people just want the pre workout protein and energy, no matter the flavor), then this might be for you for the meager savings over competing brands, but... blecch.

This was my first time trying Kreatures of Habit oats — the blueberry banana flavor — and I made it overnight oat style, just like the directions said. Added milk, gave it a solid stir, left it in the fridge overnight. By morning it looked perfect — smooth, blue, full of potential. I poured it into my travel container, ready for an easy breakfast on the go. The first sip went down fine, but after that… things got structural. It thickened up like automotive Bondo halfway through the drive. By the time I got to work, I realized I could probably fix something with it. …Instructions unclear — patched a passerby’s car with it. The good news? The repair’s holding strong, and I stayed full until lunch. Flavor’s decent, texture’s industrial, and if the gym’s closed, you can just lift the spoon. Excellent product for people who want breakfast and bodywork in one. And I thought British Pound Cake was heavy…

I am a Fitness Instructor and Health Coach and eat a very unprocessed diet. This product is packed with clean, quality ingredients that I was excited to try. There are visible chunks of apple and pumpkin seeds and it smells great. The texture is its downside as it has an undissolved, gritty texture. I mixed with almond milk overnight. In the morning I added more almond milk and my homemade Greek yogurt and cinnamon as well as additional fresh apples. It was very filling like that (I couldn’t quite finish it), but the texture is not disguise-able by my additions - I also tried adding some zero sugar granola. If you are traveling and need a clean, quality breakfast, definitely bring this. Rated this 4/5 due to STELLAR ingredients.

Great product delivery was right on time just as advertised very happy

I have ordered this product in the past and really loved it so I know what it's supposed to taste like. I was extremely disappointed to find these to be completely rancid. Even though the expiration dates were 2026-27, something was very very wrong. I tried three of the 7 packages and they tasted, bitter, sour, yeasty, and like they were mixed with a bit of paint thinner. Absolutely horrible - I was worried I would get food poisoning from tasting them. Amazon wouldn't allow a refund, I contacted the company and am hopeful they will fix their product and send out a fresh replacement, and if not, I will never order their product again.
