As intended
Kind of pricey.. but works well and the battery lasts enough to get through the day. I used it every day for a month when I was out of country and I think it didn't make it through the entire day only once. Also, it's nice that the back cover takes off easily, technically if need be you can be rocking two batteries and swap it out when the battery dies.

Works great in Costa Rica
I keep this brick inside the glove box of a Tesla Model Y located in Costa Rica, using a Claro sim card. Its job is to keep the car online (since it can't communicate over the local cellular grid), along with any passengers. Does the job and generally has impresive speed!

Local usage not travel
The device works fine in my local country. My only problem is the app. You can name the devices connected to device. After a while the names are replaced with “*”. So now you don’t know who’s connected. I don’t care for travel usage, but local usage was my main focus and it works

Works fine overseas as hotspot
This hotspot picks up 4G signals with GSM providers in Africa (buy 4G SIM for Orange, Airtel - typically <$5 plus $20-$30 for 1 month prepaid data plan). Have it to avoid hotel WiFi and to have mobile internet while moving around. Connects well to iPhone and laptops. Only quibble is the battery life is relatively short (<10 hr) so do bring a USB charger! Despite the battery, would strongly recommend this hotspot for use overseas.
