The knife comes razor sharp. I mean it when I say that it's sharp enough to shave with. My test is always to check if a knife can cut arm hair. It did it without issue. It slides right through tomatoes without squishing them. This knife is very comfortable in the hand even with my larger hands. I've used this knife to cut just about every ingredient in my kitchen. To top it all off it's a work of art the Damascus pattern and the stabilized wood handle is beautiful.

Wanted a new knife for slicing and chopping. Had my old knives for over 25 years and were very dull and chipped. Threw them out. I wanted one or two general knives that were sharp and easy to work with. Read many reviews on knives either Carbon or Stainless Steel. This is Stainless Steel. I think it is personal preference if you are a professional chef or an everyday person cooking and chopping meals for your life style and families such as myself. Just wanted a good chopping and cutting knife. I am very happy with this knife. It came packaged very well. Nice box. Had knife guard on tip and a thin plastic cover over blade..This was just a protection cover for packaging in box, not a real sleeve for the blade. I have used this knife several times and it is very sharp and cuts fantastic. Chopped a large potato and it sliced it with no effort. Diced celery, onions, tomatoes, carrots and other vegetables, and works beautiful. Chopped frozen chicken breasts and with no problem. I like the 7" length, seems easy to use and handle. Not too long and not too short. I make sure I wash and dry it after every use and will look for a good way to store my knife in a drawer or magnetic block on wall..Not sure how long it will last but so far I am very happy with purchase. Purchased as a birthday gift. It was loved and appreciated. The material, comfort, sharpness and overall appearance were all very unique and the design was great. It was a an excellent value for the 3 knives.

This is the perfect knife for working in the kitchen. It holds an edge perfectly and the grip is ultra comfortable

I’ve only used it once so far to chop up some veggies but amazingly sharp. The knife is beautiful. The handle and blade look amazing. The only thing is that after making this purchase I went to the website and I see that I sold have saved about $120 if I was to have bought the set which was posted on their website but not on Amazon. I’m am still definitely pleased with this purchase
