Exact fit for Wolf RX50 Scooter
I got this to replace a carb with a bad choke on a Wolf RX50 scooter. It shipped fast and had a good price. It was an exact fit and installed in about 1/2 hour. I didn't have to make any adjustments to the settings. It took a while to get started at first as it takes time to get the carb full of gasoline. Now the scooter starts instantly and runs great.

Perfect for your Chinese scooter that needs a little love!
I installed this in a 2008 Wildfire 50cc scooter. It had been sitting for a few years and would barley idle. I didn’t want to clean out the carb when I realized I can just buy this one! This carb will work with any gy6 engine (which basically means almost every Chinese scooter on earth). The installation went smoothly, as much as any other carb install. It fit my gy6 50cc engine very well. This procedure might take a little longer for a beginner, but if you can watch YouTube you can learn how to do this. Before you begin, I suggest using colored tape to mark all of the hoses. Then take lots of photos of your old carb. This will make it easier when you install this new one. The air intake was slightly difficult to connect but that is usually the case, as you want tight connections! My old carb was basically useless so I don’t have much I’d a “before and after” comparison as far as old carb and new carb performance. But I can tell you this made a dead scooter alive again! I actually didn’t adjust any of the screws on the carb as far as idle and mixture. The stock settings worked great.

It works great, few small things to be aware of.
My daughter has a new to her Chinese 50 with only 630 miles. It apparently never ran right, struggling to get to 20 mph. I went through the stock carb, and removed the plugs so I could adjust the mixture. It would hit 20, struggle to 25, and hit 30 on a downhill ( using GPS). Knowing it had carb issues still I ordered this unit. Seeing some negative reviews on fuel in the air filter I pulled the float bowl to make sure it wasn't stuck and to check the level. My unit was fine. We installed it, and after priming it it fired right up. It was hesitating at wide open throttle. I took it down our street and it would bog/lose power. It couldn't hit 15mph. It felt like it was starving for air. I pulled it back in and removed the air filter hose. (Filter is clean). Immediately it was revving good. I took it down the street and hit 35mph on level ground. I went ahead and put a pod filter on it. It runs great. On a slight downhill I hit 45, but level ground it has no issue holding 35. So if you have a loss of power after installation try removing the air box. Overall I am very satisfied with this carb.

Wow ! And then f*** sh**
I just put this carb on a 2012 taotao 50cc that was covered in mud and sat outside for 4 years with a little cleanig a new battery, fuel lines, vacuum lines and spark plug that little scooter started up no problem and runs like new thanks for the quality carburetor Updated on October 13 the scooter started running funny and stalling at lights so i went over everything else i thought it couldn't be the carb but i had to check after everything else seemed okay and that was it the carb had aluminum flakes inside the slow jet and in between the housing and gaskets that's when I found out that they lied about the jet sizes I'm not happy but I cleaned it out and I'm putting it back in after I make sure everything is okay I will update this again 2nd update Its been a while since i put it back in and it is still running great so i guess over all it's a good carb they just need to be honest and have some quality control

Worth the money to replace a faulty choke with a whole new carb.
I have a 2012 Taotao 50cc with just over 1700 miles on it. Just got it and had no history with it whatsoever. Had a hard start issue and poor performance which I traced to a faulty electric choke. Rather than just replace the choke I decided to spend a few dollars more and try this carb which included the part I needed to replace anyway. Arrived fast and better than advertised. Included was a fuel filter and two appropriate lengths of fuel line which I thought Id have to purchase seperately. Inatallation was super easy with the hardest part, for me anyhow, being hooking the throttle cable barrel back up to the carb. Unscrew air intake and the tube that goes into the engine manifold, pull two vaccuum lines and a fuel line, unhook the throttle cable and yank out the old carb. Install is reverse. This was truly a plug and play carb with no adjustments necessary for me. One tip, use a small clamp of some kind to pinch the fuel line to avoid having gas run all over the place!
