Universal Motor Support for Single ram and I6 Verado Engines

Works great, easy on/off. Supports my Merc 150hp 4 stroke very nice. First use was on an 800 mile round trip, no issues. Much better than the metal transom saver that came on the boat new. Went through two metal transom savers of them and repaired them several times. I believe this will last me several years to come.

Very easy to use. Slip on ram arm , turn it 180 degrees, lower motor and your done. No arm to raise up and nothing to clip or unclip. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to support there motor and want to save their transom.

This is a great invention. I purchased one for my 40hp Mercury and it works just wonderful. A little pricey, but so much better than those other metal engine supports.

Good Product, provides support to the engine while traveling. Only wish is it was an inch or two longer.

I have a boat with a 1989 115 hp Mercury outboard. The trailer configuration does not allow the use of a conventional transom saver without significant modification to the trailer. The wedge fit perfectly and provided protection to the transom on a 1000 mile trip. As a bonus, it is much easier to store than a conventional transom saver and can't come loose, as sometimes happens with conventional transom savers. The only downside is that the Wedge doesn't take the torque off the transom as a conventional transom saver does. I will probably modify my trailer to allow use of a standard transom saver on long trips because of that shortcoming. For short trips or as a backup for the conventional transom saver, the Wedge is a great solution.

My trailer doesn't have space for a transom saver, so this worked great as an alternative for my 20 hp electric trim/tilt.
