Comprehensive
This is a comprehensive document with all that the DIY owner is likely to require. The indexing is not as clear as it might be so can take a bit of detective work to find a detail you want. However, with some familiarity it becomes straightforward enough. Good value for what it offers.

Comprehensive
Comprehensive but often repetitive. Text and photos are small. Could be laid out better. It's a pity Haynes don't do a manual as they are usually much clearer.

5* As described
Exactly as described & appears fully comprehensive. Print & picture/diagram sizes could be bigger to make it easier to use but this would make this mighty tome even bigger. A workshop-friendly (wipeable) version would be nice.

Very useful but difficult to read
The book is a reproduction of several official manuals, reduced from A4 to A5 (2 pages original to one page of this book landscape) so it’s small print and diagrams. Not the easiest to read. The wiring diagrams are however useless as they are very low resolution and impossible to read, even using a magnifying glass. However, hardware wise, it tells you what you need and it’s the only thing available, so needs must. For tuning/ setting, it references other documents which are not included.

The Step by Step guide to MG TF Heaven
A comprehensive breakdown and precise instructions on dismantling and rebuilding all elements of the MG TF. Even though you do have to refer to other sections along the process of doing a particular job I just mark the relevant pages and find it no problem. The numbered step by step clear instructions with excellent illustrations enhance its workshop appeal and in addition has every nut, bolt, torque measurement you would ever need.

Comprehensive insight
Before I purchased the manual I read the reviews and they are all fairly accurate in their critique of the publication. I have not delved too deep as yet but wading through a few pertinent areas of the car. I find the print really small (ageing eyesight) I also find it confusing that they repeat side by side the steps, better if the manual had concentrated on one vehicle type only, however I can see why they have done it this way.I am an older guy and remember the original 60's BMC manuals as I had an MG Magnette and then a Mini, now those were great manuals and constructed in such a way (ring binders) that you could also extract say a page or two to reference as you were doing the job.All that said this is probably the best manual on the market for the MGTF
