Best Value Work Boots
Just received my second pair of these Dickies, and as before I am more than happy with them, they are comfortable from the word go, are well made, very comfortable, light, and pound for pound, even though the wear a little quicker than some more expensive boots from other manufacturers, are probably the best value work boots you can buy. And as it is a legal requirement for me to wear steel toe boots that conform to BS EN ISO 20345, these are perfect. My first pair began to wear out around the padded collar initially, and if these had a more durable collar, ie leather, they would be unbeatable. Even so, for £20.00 you can,t go wrong.....Review over, hope it was helpful, thanks for reading, love you all :).

I thought they were nice boots but...
I adore these boots! They're perfect - more than a shoe, but less than a big stomping boot! They look dead smart so I wear them to work with sensible clothes, and no-one notices! The quality of everything is great.I am a small size six, and I found these just a tiny bit big, but not enough to stop me wearing them. I just stuck two shoe liners in there, and they're fine.UPDATEI bought these boots about six months ago, and the stitching has gone on the front of the boot, just below the laces, on both boots. I haven't worn them on site or done anything especially exciting in them, so this cannot be the result of unusual wear and tear. It is very disappointing, because they really are nice boots. I will wear them until they drop off my feet, but unfortunately I won't be getting them again. I don't expect the stitching to fall apart so quickly!FINAL UPDATEThe soles have cracked! I wore them in the snow and the left sole developed a massive split and let all the snow in! Boots now in the bin. One very disappointed customer!

Safety Boots
The boots are a larger fit than normal shoes. I presume this is to accomodate an insole insert and thicker socks. The boots initially were very comfy but after a few hours of being on my feet they started to feel heavy and uncomfortable.I inserted an insole to increse the comfort level to my feet and this helped quite a lot. The wearing of thicker sock with the boots and insoles seems to be the best combination for support and comfort. With this pair of boots my feet do seem to get hot quite easily. The materials used to manufacture the boots are of good quality. I have purchased goods made by Dickies in the past and do stand the test of time but it is too early to tell with these boots as I have only had them a few days.

The only review you need to read.
These boots literally saved my foot. So I'm writing this review from a hospital bed, after suffering two breaks and two fractures in my left food. I was ran over by a 7.5 tonne truck. Doctors all agree, had it not been for my PPE, my foot would have been damaged beyond repair. These are safety boots that put safety first. The design is very basic looking, but they are comfortable. The price is absolutely fantastic and you are definitely getting value for money here.My only cons are that the insole wore away quite easily, and the laces broke within a few months use.Overall, I'm thankful I was wearing these boots, and when I return to work, I shall be purchasing a new pair of these to once again protect my feet.

Eyelet snapped but still a good boot.
Great boot however eyelet snapped today after around 6 weeks of ownership or around 200 hours use, still usable as excess lace gets tucked in anyway and the eyelets below do a good enough job keeping the boot tight.Laces look like there on the way out but that is understandable, spare laces in work bag for when they do.Other than that, very comfortable after broke in, keep the water out great, easy to get on and off, perfect for HGV drivers on a budget.

Great Product, look after them and they’ll look after you!
Have been wearing Dickies work boots for many years, even bought my own when previous employers provided their own safety footwear. They have always been comfortable, water resistant, and durable, but most of all good value for money.I would advise that (like any other kind of work boot) wear them in for a few days before prolonged use.Would highly recommend.

Great value can't wait to use them at work next week.
I ordered one size up and glad as I have enough room in the toe area without being too crushed in. Quality and finish very high but I can imagine if not carefully tying the laces they could easily cut on the metal upper clips. Haven't really worn them much yet but in time I expect soles to open to the uppers where the toes bend the shoe and the insole to wear and compress forcing me to replace them with a gel versions. Great price for such quality £40 for similar at B & Q lighter too.

So far so good...
Bought these to replace my last pair that I'd had for a couple of years, so was dubious as to whether they would still be good quality but so far they seem to be! The insoles didn't last long with the previous pair but nothing new inserts couldn't fix but they seem okay this time.Very comfortable, use them working in retail and don't tend to have sore feet even after a few hours on my feet, and the steel toe comes in useful when you work with those metal cages! They are quite weighty, but you expect that with these kind of heavy duty boots.
