Possible change in design

Bought Daniel Boone Grill around 2000. The replacement OEM grills are of a different design with heaver grill bars and wider spacing. I do not know if Green Mountain Grills has changed their design but there is a difference.

These are original Daniel Boone thin grates.

They are the thin grates, not the new thick grates.

These do work, which is good, but I thought I was getting thew newer-ish style that was thicker.

Grill looked nice however they are just a little too big and didn't fit properly in my Daniel Boone GMG.
