This 50 year old boy enjoyed this gift for his Birthday. He laughed, made him feel good!! We decided that we would hang these socks up for Christmas…….. he better be good! Fun Gift

These were a great pair of socks to give to celebrate a special birthday! They got a big laugh, which was the goal, and have been worn several times since the birthday. (I know because I do their laundry - lol). He doesn't usually wear patterned socks, so the fact that he wears them often is an indication of how comfortable they are. They have a nice, thick feel to them, unlike the dress socks he wears for work. They've held up nicely to the many washings and show no signs of shabbiness or fading. So, these socks were a birthday gift win!

It says for a man in the description, but I think a lady (who wears socks) wouldn't mind getting these either. The body of the sock has the "50" repeated over and over, but it's the sole that has the message. One on each foot. It's meant to read "It took 50 years" (other sock) "to look this good". Cute message for anyone turning 50. The problem at our house is that my hubby's got gunboats for feet. So he's a size 12, and they are too tiny for him, but too large for me (women's 8). Otherwise, no typos in the message. Comfortable feeling socks, with reinforced heel and toe. Message = white on a black background. Wish they fit, but what you gonna do. May try to give them to my son whose feet are halfway between mine and my husband's size. He won't care that the message is off for him (in his 20s) because he loves irony. Great gift for somebody if you can get the size right! I thought I'd read the description properly, but it wouldn't be the first size mistake I've made either. Otherwise, good items and would make a cute gift. Come packaged in a plastic bag so quick and economical shipping.

For someone turning 50 or 60 this is a nice cozy easy going gift!
