Microsoft Surface Go Type Cover (Black)

Seems like a very nicely made keyboard. Attaches magnetically to the bottom of my Microsoft Surface Go 4. It is backlit and you can adjust the brightness or just turn it off. This keyboard does not need batteries nor do you need to charge it. It is also made of a material that allows it to act as a screen protector. Though it is not a full size keyboard, the keys are still of a reasonable size for ease of use. Lastly, you can fold the keyboard behind the tablet and use just the touchscreen - you don't have to detach the keyboard. I do recommend this keyboard for use with the Microsoft Surface Go 4.

Snapped right into my Surface Go, first generation. Worked perfectly out of the box. I tested the keyboard by typing "test my keyboard" and hit enter. It actually gave me a website that lets you test your keyboard! Each key I tapped, gave me a light up key on the display. Every key worked perfectly.So glad I ordered it. My other one is like 6 years old. The "A" key was starting to skip when I tapped it. I wasn't sure I needed to replace it. But once I pulled this new keyboard out of the packaging, I knew right away that it was a great choice.I type a lot. This keyboard was "used" as it had been previously bought and returned. Fine by me. Other keyboards of the same microsoft order cost at least twice as much. So, for 20 bucks, I got a NEW keyboard. No coffee stains, no cracks, no smudges of mystery taco sauce... in other words it looks new, types like new, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to find such a good deal!

I've been using a Macbook Pro for the last 5+ years because Apple makes great hardware. I was very surprised trying out this keyboard. I've seen other reviews say how good it is, but I was a bit skeptical. The keys are much better than the butterfly keys on the older Macbooks. I haven't used the new scissor keys much, but my initial impression is that this keyboard beats that one too. The keys are a bit close together and the touchpad is a bit smaller than I'm use to, which is expected since it's a smaller keyboard. The good news is that it doesn't take long to adjust. What I found the most surprising is the touchpad. I stayed away from Windows laptops because the touchpad was nowhere near as good as a Mac's. This one changes that perception that I've always had. It's very smooth and precise. I just wish it was bigger, but I do understand that it's as big as it can be given the amount of space available. Feeling how great this is, I'm reconsidering whether my next laptop will be another Macbook or a Surface branded laptop.

Bought this magnetically attached MS keyboard for a SurfaceGo 4. It conveniently attaches, uses the Go’s power, and doubles as a sturdy cover. The keys are large enough and have a comfortable quiet click. The mouse pad is small but works well enough. The keyboard is flexible, which takes some getting used to, but that’s to be expected since it also serves as a cover.This MS keyboard/cover is much better than other after-market products l have tried and returned. I think it’s a must-have for a surfaceGo.

I've tried another keyboard and this one is the best. It works well and is comfortable to use. I did not like the price, but it does feel like a quality item that will last.

Snapped right in and works so much better than the virtual keyboard. Nice track pad so you don't need a mouse. The keys feel good with some resistance like a proper keyboard.I'm using this on a Surface Go 4 and it works great. I mention this because most reviews are for the Go 4 and in the ads that is what is usually referenced.

iPads are great devices: great screens, long lasting battery, many apps, endless models of Bluetooth keyboards available - but they lack proper touchpad. A mouse can be added although isn't as good as a Windows mouse.But a Surface Go with this keyboard is fantastic: light, thin, illuminated keys, no battery needed.The keyboard came in original packaging in mint condition.Very happy with it.

My original keyboard quit working after about five years of use. This product is exactly the same as the original keyboard. Everything works perfectly again. A good replacement - highly recommended.
