What lead weight comes with the pencils?

Seems to be manufactures version of HB/#2. There's no real benefits to a lead holder over wood unless you utilize it's ability to handle 6B to 6H. That being said, it's a great lead holder for the price over standard Steadtler draft kit (pot metal+plastic) models. It feels more like a traditional pencil in the hand than most other lead holders. The built in lead pointer has stood the test of time. Also, the holders only look better (antiqued) with wear and age.

Why is it taking forever to come

I believe they are shipped from over seas, if I do recall correctly

Czech Republic. One excellent lead holder, manufactured there for many decades. I have used them since the late 1960's

Does this model have built in sharpener?

Yes, it is in the top where you depress to release more lead...great lead holder
