These bags a wonderful addition to plastic bag alternative. Regardless of which grocery or retail store, the cashier usually makes a comment on how “these are the nicest reusable bags”. That, I figure, is a high compliment coming from a person that sees multiple differing bags. The canvas feels good. Someone mentioned the straps being too long. I disagree in this as when the strap is worn over the shoulder it is wide and long enough to sit comfortably there. Even with it full of canned goods. The interior pockets are good for glass bottles and yet also for celery, carrots and other such veggies! These bags have been in use in our home for about 9 months now, as I usually wait a while to review. Our family members all received these bags along with mesh veggie mags for Christmas and the consensus was good. One negative and only one is that when I washed the bag, I’d forgotten the other warning reviews, it was also dried and shrunk. The bag shrunk tremendously. So.... wash in cold and dry out side. Enjoy being part of a very special club of helping to care for our Earth and those that live upon it.

Terrific bags. Hold a lot of items, the side pocket is fantastic for glass containers. Even after getting stained with berries, the stains wash out easily. After multiple washings, bags still hold ~20 pounds without the seams ripping or tearing out. I've had them for a year and a half and they have stood the test of time. 6 bags is enough for my weekly shopping trip. My only minor complaint is the length of the the handles. I'm tall but if I'm carrying them with my arms down by my side, they drag on the ground. However, the length is great if you prefer to carry them on your shoulder with your arm through the loops. Easily overcome if walking from the store to the car. Could be a deal breaker if you have to walk with multiple bags in each hand over a long distance.

These are the biggest and sturdiest grocery bags I've ever bought or seen. Since I just got them, I have no long term wear report. I will get back here if Amazon allows after a good bit of use. Nice flat bottoms and handy inside pouches.

Like the bag. Very sturdy. "Pockets" are open sleeves so I sewed 2 of them closed on the bottom to be pockets. Sleeve size is good for most wine bottles, bunch carrots, celery, etc. Not lg enough for OJ or milk bottle. Sleeve not good for holding sm things like keys, wallet, coupons, snack bars etc. so I sewed 2 shut & opened 1. Also very stiff with sizing (good) but when I washed the bag 1) badly wrinkled, difficult to flatten/smooth out 2) the more it's washed the softer it will become. 3) I put cardboard in the bottom for stability. 4) I put sm magnets in the top hem to keep it closed. I like the bags but be aware these are not closed bottom pockets but open bottom sleeves. And for natural 'white' utility bags, not very washable.

Great bags. They hold a LOT, like 4 2L bottles of Diet Coke & other groceries in one bag. Slung it over my shoulder & off I went. That’s very good for the price, IMHO.

I buy these every Christmas so my adult children can cart all their gifts home. Can never have enough. Sturdy and strong. Good canvas weight for heavy shopping loads. They tend to shrink a bit if washed; try to spot clean instead of washing machine. Air dry only.

I bought these to replace the many reusable bags bought from grocery stores and made from recycled materials because I wanted washable bags. I haven’t washed them yet but will update if there is an issue after washing. I’m satisfied with the size and quality. They are wide and deep contrary to many other bags which are more like totes, and they are sturdy. I would recommend without any hesitation.
