Know that your purchasing untreated rolled steal already rusting. The rust will stain whatever it’s placed on after the weather gets at it. Otherwise attractive stove and functional.

I would say the front opening is definitely too large/high. It results in smoke spilling out the front more than desired. I purchased this to replace a clay chiminea and I used smoke pipe to get the smoke up and out from under our deck canopy. Now this new one spills anyway. If Sunnydaze wants to create a skirt I could install from the top of the opening, let me know... UPDATE Sunnydaze did reach out to try to make things right. Great customer service with this issue, as well as when screws were missing when it first arrived.

This chiminea sits on a covered porch and the small size is perfect for a corner yet can hold enough fire to sit in front of and enjoy the heat!!

The product works as planned. I did drill some holes in the bottom to let snow/water escape and installed a screen to catch any embers. But lights easily and burns long and warm. Amazing little unit. Perfect for making a small area Cosy.

This is not what I was hoping for. The metal is rusted, not rustic. It's very messy and hard to assemble. The smoke from a fire comes out the front and not as much out the top as anticipated. This makes is impossible to sit around the chiminea. I am sad that we paid this much money for something we probably won't use.

Works great. Radiates heat toward you. Contains fire well. Smoke goes up chimney and does not blow in your face.Has an awesome weathered look. Everyone who has been around it has ordered one. Highly recommend

We bought this because the look was cool and large clay chimineas are hard to find. We have a very large sectional seating area and thought this would be perfect. The design is poor. The shape of the "mouth" is so large and comes out so far at the bottom that it gets full of water every time it rains. We placed a lid from an old clay chiminea on top but you need to cover it completely so rain doesn't fill up inside. It's super hard to get a fire going. The majority of the smoke comes out the front and very little smoke goes out the top. You cannot get the proper air flow underneath the logs to keep a fire going. If you use the grill grate that came with it the coals drop below the grate thus no hot coals to maintain a fire. Poor design! This is way overpriced at $500 for a hunk of metal. Would not even purchase it if it was $100! We threw away the packaging or I would request a return!
