Melissa & Doug Doctor Costume | Role Play Clothes for Kids, with Coat & Stethoscope | Age 3-6

This Doctor costume arrives on a hangar with a plastic cover for protection. It is a really well made and thought out item. The coat has a hospital id badge in the upper pocket which has room for a name and photo. It has a number of pockets as it comes with some doctor tools as well as an adjustable velcro face mask which are placed in these pockets. These are held in place by some threads so will have to be cut before play can begin, but it only takes a few minutes to release everything. The stethescope requires two cell batteries which don't come with the costume, and once inserted when pressed will make a realistic bad cough sound and when pressed again a beating heart sound. The thermometer has a push top to it which changes the temperature readings from normal in the white area to feverish in the red area. The injection plunger is on some kind of spring and it retracts when pushed into the patient so it looks like the dose is given and then expands again when released. The costume also has a hearing tool with a large square shape cut out at the top for looking in ears or the mouth. County Hospital is written on the back of the coat. My 3 yr old grandchild loves this costume, we get our temperature read and injections regularly.

Bought for our 3 year old this Christmas and did not disappoint! A fantastic set with great equipment and they really look the part! It's much more realistic and modern than other outfits I've seen. I'm really glad I bought this and not a nurses outfit. Our daughter loves it and has the best cared for teddy bears around! It also has an educational value and she has begun to ask questions about what makes you healthy, what makes you poorly and has learned about the sorts of treatment she might best prescribe for different ailments. She sent her sneezing Grandma to bed with an orange and a box of tissues the other day! lol.

Well made coat which I think would fit a wide age range, smart too with the green trim. The see through pockets are a clever idea full as they are with an assortment of essential medical items that any budding doctor/vet will enjoy using. You can even hear the heart through the stethoscope! Expensive but worth it because of its play value and longevity. My granddaughter loved it.

The product was good and liked by my granddaughter but delivery issues spoiled the experience. I have had lots of issues with delivery including a number of parcels left on my doorstep which were clearly not mine

Both my grandsons have enjoyed playing Doctor and I have had enough "injections" to last a lifetime! It has been a very good buy with the six year old probably favouring it more than the three year old who slightly preferred the fire chief outfit also by Melissa and Doug. Together these have provided many hours of imaginative play - very good value for money as well made and will last.

This was purchased for a 3rd birthday present and we were delighted with the quality of the outfit. The clothing is thick enough to be durable and the medical accessories, of which there are plenty, are again of a nice quality to be a lovely gift. I have always considered Melissa & Doug to offer sound quality items, be them dressing up clothing such as this, wooden toys or stickers - once again I was not disappointed.

I bought this item for my 2 year old daughter,she loves it. It is really good quality and it is played with almost every day. The delivery of this item was very quick and I would recommend this item and seller to any one. There is one thing I need to say is than the item came in a box 3 times the size of the item and think it was over the top but on the oth hand it kept it safe from any damage, well packed :)

I bought this as the kids I look after are always checking each other for 'bugs' and pretending they need a doctor. As soon as I unwrapped it, kids aged 23 months, 2, and 4 were all over it and calling for a doctor. I wish I had bought them one each as they all love being the doctor. The stethoscope plays either a heartbeat or a poorly coughing sound. It's a good size fitting the 2 and 4 year olds well. Not stiff or itchy for them. Overall, I love it because the kids are getting so many learning opportunities from it. Will look at buying more from Melissa and doug dress up range.

Got this toy for 2 year-old, and find it a great fun! - coat was a good size (wont' outgrow too soon) with whimsical design - pocket provide perfect storage for each toy that it comes with - good variety of doctor's "tools" - toys are round and safe (no sharp edges/surface) - all parts are very well made (unlike some Halloween costumes), good for playtime as well as Halloween Kid having so much fun doing dr. checkup on teddy bear, can see this a great toy for a long time!

My 3 year old grandson loves this kit. He plays with it every day. It has a nice coat, and a stethoscope with a heartbeat sound, plus a few other (doctor instruments). Great quality and the coat came in a large size that will last him a long time! I definitely recommend this doctor kit!
