KidKraft Charlotte Classic Wooden Dollhouse with 14-Piece Accessory Set, for 12-Inch Dolls

My 4 year old daughter and I ADORE this KidKraft Dollhouse! It was quite easy to assemble, I would say took no longer than an hour or hour and a half to put together. Furniture that's included is already assembled, one complaint is that two furniture pieces were crushed, and one was chipped a bit, but one phone call to KidKraft later, and those replacement pieces are on their way in the mail! Another couple "complaints", of sorts, is that the bed isn't long enough for a 12" Barbie doll, as you can see in the pics, Ken's feet are hanging off the bed and his head can't lay on the pillow either. However, most of the time she uses the bed like a BUNK BED, and Ken fits just fine on the "TOP BUNK"! lol Then there's the bathtub, as you can see in the pics, Barbie can't fit in the tub either, however Chelsea and her friend fit beautifully. Wished they made Barbie and Ken like they did in "my day", their legs bent at the knees! If her dolls legs could bend their knees I'm certain they would fit in both the bed and the bathtub. The kitchen only comes with a sink/cabinet, but I was able to find a kitchen set that FITS PERFECTLY! As you can see in the pics, we've spread the kitchen out into 2 rooms, but they do all fit in just the kitchen room, but are unable to open all the doors when we did that. We decided to put the kitchen sink in the bathroom instead and that worked out beautifully. The nursery room isn't tall enough for Barbie Mom/Dad to stand upright, but works great as a playroom for Chelsea and her friend. Overall we are VERY HAPPY with this almost all WOODEN dollhouse. Great price, great quality, compared to "Barbies Dream House", which is all plastic and from reviews I read is always coming apart. This dollhouse is sturdy, HUGE, beautiful rooms, lots of surprising details on all floors, porch ceilings and walls, inside and outside side walls, no decoration on the backside. Would dare to say this is heirloom quality and, if taken care of properly, could most definitely be passed on to the next generation. Also comes with a safety device, to attach to a wall in your home, so it won't tip over and fall on the child. Thank you Amazon and KidKraft for a wonderful buying and playing experience!

I bought this for my 3 year old daughter for Christmas. The way her face lit up when she saw it next to the tree made at worth every single penny. She is absolutely obsessed with it. It is adorable and came with so many things. Assembly was actually pretty simple. The instructions are very detailed and all of the pieces were extremely organized. This doll house is good quality and a lot of her dolls fit inside! So far, so many hours of fun. Her 5 year old brother loves to play with it too! This purchase was definitely a win!

My daughter started playing with Barbies recently so we wanted to get her a dollhouse. We looked at the dream house but they are expensive and small. This dollhouse is the perfect size for a standard size Barbie doll, much bigger than the Barbie dream houses, and much more affordable! I was worried about product quality, durability, and ability to last. This has surpassed my expectations in every way! P.S. Assembly was straight forward and didn’t take too long (1 person). Just be patient and follow the instructions.

Very nice doll house well made

Good news: this dollhouse is fantastic! It’s sturdy, the furniture and back ground room and furnishings adorable (it comes with a beachfront view), and my 4 year old daughter was overjoyed to receive it as a Christmas gift! This house will provide her with years of imaginative and dramatic play! Bad news: the instructions are terrible! We had to set it up and take it apart several times to figure out which room goes where because this wasn’t labeled and there is no picture on the box! My advice: look at the picture on Amazon or the company’s website BEFORE tackling this project to head off any confusion and concerns! And a power drill will definitely be more gentle on your wrists! Overall assessment: definitely worth the assembly hassle to see the joy on her little face when seeing this beautiful dollhouse! But the manufacturer should do better by its customers by providing better instructions!

My husband and I bought this for our 3 year old for her birthday. We just put it together and haven't seen how it holds up yet during play, but I have high hopes and rated this product based off of initial impressions! Overall, this seems like a fantastic dollhouse for the price we paid! We looked at so many dollhouses available on Amazon in this price range that seemed so flimsy and cheap. We also realized that the pictures frequently make the houses appear much bigger than they actually are. This dollhouse is ACTUALLY 4ft tall! It's absolutely huge and we were so happy about that. The furniture/accessories that come with the house are so adorable and are made of high-quality thick wood (BETTER than what was featured in the pictures), which was really impressive! All of the details make this house just adorable. The only things I have to "constructively" criticize: - The white plastic stairs that go on the first floor do not click into place. They are flimsy and will fall down easily. I plan to super glue our stairs onto the house. - Though the structure of the house and the balconies/railings are thankfully made with good quality wood that is sturdy, I am a little nervous about the quality of the particle board that gets popped into the back of the house (these are the background pictures of the different rooms in the house). Time will tell how long these things will hold up! Overall, if you're looking for a great dollhouse that doesn't break the bank ($75-$125 range), I'd definitely recommend this one!! So far we are very happy with the purchase!

This is an adorable, huge dollhouse and I love it! Bought it for my grandkids who are at this time much too small to enjoy it. This piece of furniture will last for years! If you're thinking about purchasing this for your littles, notice in the pictures posted that toddlers can't even see the top level. I may or may not have bought this for me.. 🤣 I downloaded the app which provided 3D pictures to assemble. I highly recommend assembling with it, if I didn't have it, I think that I would've been lost. All in all this is a great set with cute furniture! I'm still looking for a family to live in the home.. Thinking about the Calico Critters as a different family could be in each room but not sure if they're big enough. (Update American Girls mini was a good size and I went with them). Last word is that the circular shape thing is a cake. I looked high and low trying to figure out where it belonged, until I noticed a picture of it in the reviews sitting on the table. Thank you for a beautiful piece our family will enjoy it for years!

This is a Christmas present for my grand kids. They love it and the youngest (2 yo) can play with it as well as the 6 year old. They each rearrange the furniture on the levels they can reach and seem to love it. It seems very well made, easy to assemble although it took about 2 hours to get it right. The labeling and instructions leave a bit to be desired, since the instruction booklet only shows the shape, rather that which way the orientation should go. Each of the first 5 pieces must be oriented correctly for the next few pieces to have the right design matching. It is too easy to get pieces upside down or right /left confusion. The good news is you can disassemble those pieces, with minimal effort and figure it out.. The hardware was clearly marked and segregated by type of screw and where each went. In addition, it had a separate packet of "extras" so if you strip one, you have a replacement. The fit and finish , in my opinion, was great. I would definitely recommend this product.
