Just assume you're going to pick the wrong size and order a couple of different widths/lengths. I'm reasonably sturdy and stout (5'11", 230) so I tried a 46/32 and a 44/30 and the 46 feels like 5 sizes bigger than the 44 and even the 44 is borderline too big. I'm expecting it to shrink slightly so I stayed with roomy smaller size, but I had to roll up the pant cuffs when a 30 inseam with boots is usually a winning combo.

Waist fits fine the length is plenty long should have gone with the 34 and I'm 6' 3" but it was also nice to find a pair of overalls that had the zip to thigh feature.
