Great sound and sensitivity!
I was amazed at the quality of sound coming out of this pocket sized transistor radio when I first turned it on. I was also very pleased with the sensitivity and selectivity of the receiver on all of the bands it features. It picked up more stations than a more expensive radio I own. A great pocket sized radio for the money!

Great little AM/FM radio but haven't been able to find a shortwave channel yet.
This portable radio is a reliable, old-school device that provides clear AM, FM, and shortwave reception. It's lightweight and compact, making it easy to carry, and includes a headphone jack for private listening. While the tuning dial can be a bit tricky, it generally locks onto signals well. The shortwave feature is a nice bonus, though finding stations can be challenging. The plastic build is typical for its price, but the radio is a good value for those needing a simple, portable option.

TOMASHI Radio - Review
$18.99 at time of review Received package in good condition - fast shipping, Product quality feels very sold, AM, FM, and short wave reception is very good, Appears as though radio in off mode may not use up batteries like some digital one do, A bit low on sound power output, sound quality is just OK - many radios in this price range have better sound but may not have shortwave, Down side, headphone output is mono and out of phase - not stereo, Radio work well with week batters, Appears as though power switch tuns power off 100% so not to kill batters like some digital radios with clocks, Nice sturdy telescopic antenna, Nice uniform finish An OK value at $18.99, for around the same price you might find a better radio, maybe its more of a $10 - $15 radio,

Tomashi 6123 AM/FM/SW radio, a good buy.
Pros: -Good FM reception. -Uses 2 standard AA batteries, not included. -Has a pleasant sounding speaker that is not too tinny. -Has an easy to use tuning knob. -Has a Telescopic antenna. -Has a headphone jack. -Has a lanyard. -Has good even feet and sits stably. -Power turns completely off, so there is no parasitic draw on batteries. Cons: -Has poor AM reception and mediocre SW reception. -Volume control is reversed, turn down to increase volume. -Lacks a tuning LED. -Lacks a backlight. -Lacks weather band. -Lacks flashlight. I'm not sure who actually makes this radio, but it is an exact clone of the RETEKESS V117 and performs identically to it. The only difference being, the brand stamped on it, and that the RETEKESS V117 is black, whereas this Tomashi 6123 radio is silver. They are both good sounding and well performing radios for their size and price class. I noticed in the Q&A section that someone asked if this is a true analog radio and they answered the question incorrectly. This is a digital radio, that has a digital tuner, using an analog tuning scale. There is a big difference between this and a true analog radio. True analog radios are very rare these days. I have a very large portable radio collection, so I can make an accurate comparison between radios. This radio is better than average and has a better than average speaker and FM tuner. The AM reception is poor, but that is not uncommon in these modern generation of small portable radios. AM reception seems to be some afterthought these days. The shortwave reception is just mediocre, but can get much better by clipping on an external antenna. At the current selling price of $18.99, this radio is a little overpriced for what you get, but not badly so. I would highly recommend this radio if you don't have need of weather band, or if you don't need a flashlight built into your radio.

Headphone port dose not work
The product description says it takes 3.5mm earphones but I have not been able to get sound out of my headphones that are 3.5mm. Other then that I'm very happy with the functionality and size
