I love this laptop and I am great full that I found it at a good price

I'm 77 so it takes awhile for me to get used to new tech items. But this was pretty easy, I was glad that all my info and accts. transferred from my old computer without me doing anything. I like the large size. I am still learning how to use certain things that it can do but I am really happy with this purchase. My one gripe is that it wouldn't print so I found that if I shut it down then plug in my printer then turn the laptop back on - it prints. I must be doing something wrong but at least it will print this way.

It was a great laptop while it lasted. I had it for 4.5 years before it died.

I bought this laptop as a present for my girl because she didn't want to deal with the complications of using Windows, so I thought a Chromebook would be perfect for her. Turns out, it is! I was very surprised by how great the build quality is for a cheap laptop. Even though it is plastic, it's a smooth, hard plastic, and the hinges are very strong. The screen is amazing, bright with good colors. For basic tasks like browsing, documents, play store games, streaming platforms, and listening to music, it is very fast and snappy. We haven't tried more demanding tasks yet, but we'll see. The battery life is decent so far. I'm very happy with this purchase; I got it on Black Friday, so I paid less than 200 dollars, and for that price, it's really worth it! P.S.: It's a little bit heavier than I expected, but it's fine for carrying it in a backpack. P.S.2: When it's updating, the base of the laptop gets very hot, so more demanding tasks might cause it to throttle a bit due to the heat.

Bought for school. Very pleased.

I tried to use the offline storage feature and found it wouldn't download all the files I indicated to be downloaded. The 15 gigs of files I wanted available offline it only downloaded 13 gigs. the remaining 2 gigs were actually some of my most important files making it functionally not useful for offline work. The files it did download about one in every seven was non-functional on the computer. Example if I downloaded seven Microsoft office word files one of them would indicate it could not be read despite the fact I could read other word files. but if I want to onto the cloud I can read the file as a word file with no problem. making the issue the computer not the file or the cloud. I believe this Chromebook is perfectly fine if you just want to surf the Internet but if you wish to be able to store anything on it and also in the cloud it will not function in a manner that's consistently useful.

I was very happy with this new Chromebook. I've been using Asus Chromebooks for years and my latest told me they would no longer support it after June, so I got this one when it was on special. I've had it for about two weeks and tried to go online to pay bills this morning and my bank said they no longer support this OS and I needed to download something else. Huh? On a brand new computer? Luckily, someone helped me figure out that it needed to be updated and it's fine now. But why didn't it already have the latest OS? That's why I gave it only three stars. I would have returned it if I wasn't able to access my bank.

Just bought this for online school during COVID19. My son loves it! Beautiful big screen.

Die Tastatur ist sehr angenehm. Die Akkulaufzeit ist auch ziemlich gut. Mir gefallen besonders die schmalen Bildschirmränder und dass es trotz 15,6 zoll so schlank und leicht ist. Das Design ist insgesamt ziemlich schön. Ich finds gut dass man bei der amerikanischen Version das doppelte an Arbeitsspeicher bekommt als bei der deutschen Version.

Came even before estimated delivery date, while two other Chromebooks I attempted to buy were delayed delayed delayed. This Asus Chromebook feels a little heavy and does not seem to have a backlit keyboard. Has been fine for just accessing webpages so far without using Android or Linux on it. Also happy that screen is 1080p not 720p. Keyboard is just as bad (shallow) as the previous Acer Chromebook I had though.

If you’re already familiar with windows, the operating system isn’t difficult to learn how to use, be kind of nice if it had a touchscreen though .
