My absolute favourite Single Malt Scotch whisky that belongs to the 6 Classics of Scotland. Fantastic well-balanced taste. I can confidently say Cragganmore 12 years old is the best made Scotch single malt whisky of them all. Massively underrated and undermarketed, however perhaps because of this it is still so tasty as many good whiskies that have become mainstream ones lose their character due to the scale of manufacture. If you intend to make a gift to anyone who likes Scotch whiskies, Cragganmore is the one to choose. Cragganmore is the one to have in your cabinet if you dare claiming to be a fan of Single Malt Scotch whiskies.

A nice smooth whisky with a nice finish. Bought as a replacement to the one opened after finding an unopen one at the back of a cupboard. Reminding me that it is a nice malt and really is worth having a replacement available.

Goes down well anticipating the next one

It's flavour is good but for a little more expense you get sherry cask which unlike Dalwhinnie, elevates the flavour to superb

Als Liebhaber von Scotch Whisky war ich sehr gespannt auf den Cragganmore 12 Jahre, und ich wurde keineswegs enttäuscht. Dieser Single Malt ist ein echtes Meisterwerk. Schon beim Öffnen der Flasche steigt einem der herrliche Duft von Honig, frischen Früchten und einer leichten Rauchnote in die Nase. Der erste Schluck ist ein wahres Erlebnis. Der Cragganmore 12 Jahre ist wunderbar weich und geschmeidig im Mund. Die Aromen von Honig, Vanille und getrockneten Früchten entfalten sich sanft auf der Zunge und werden von einer dezenten, aber bemerkbaren Rauchigkeit begleitet. Was diesen Whisky wirklich von anderen abhebt, ist seine ausgewogene Komplexität. Die verschiedenen Geschmacksrichtungen sind so perfekt miteinander verwoben, dass sie ein harmonisches Gesamtbild ergeben. Die Süße des Honigs wird durch die leichte Rauchigkeit perfekt ausgeglichen, und die Fruchtnoten verleihen dem Ganzen eine erfrischende Lebendigkeit. Der Abgang ist lang und angenehm wärmend. Man spürt die 12 Jahre Reifung in jedem Schluck. Dieser Whisky ist definitiv kein übermäßig schwerer oder rauchiger Scotch, sondern eher eine elegante und subtile Interpretation. Die Verpackung ist ebenfalls ansprechend. Die Flasche ist schlicht und klassisch gestaltet und vermittelt den Eindruck von Qualität und Tradition. Insgesamt kann ich den Cragganmore 12 Jahre jedem Scotch-Liebhaber empfehlen, der auf der Suche nach einem Whisky mit ausgewogenem Geschmack und einer angenehmen Komplexität ist. Dieser Single Malt ist ein wahrer Genuss und wird sicherlich einen Ehrenplatz in meiner Sammlung einnehmen. Ein großartiger Whisky zu einem vernünftigen Preis.

I can only second the excellent reviews of the great many 5 star raters. This pure malt Whisky is truly outstanding, I particularly like the smooth taste and gentle smokey sweetness.

Ottimo whisky, vermante delicato. Sono rimasto stupito dalla sua "dolcezza" (ma io bevo spesso whisky torbati). Devo dire che a questa fascia di prezzo è davvero ottimo e lo ricomprerò sicuramente! PROMOSSO!
