I got this thinking it would basically be the same as the name brand, but no. First, the foam sits like blobs, much like Cool Whip, and actually roll off your head if you are not quick enough. Also, leaves hair near the scalp looking oily, which makes your scalp more obvious. Won't buy again.

This left crusty yellow residue in my hair. Do not recommend.

I can't speak for the effectiveness, because I simply cannot use this product frequently enough for results. This foam is very dense, like shaving cream. It's impossible to apply it on the scalp without it spreading all through your existing hair, making it extremely sticky and gross feeling. The previous brand I had purchased came with a foam misting nozzle - worked much better and way less sticky

This product is worthless. I bought it because the Amazon brand wasn't available on my subscription. When I apply this foam, my hair looks dirty and greasy. Worst of all, the progress I had achieved from the Amazon brand disappeared. Once again, my hair is thinning at the center of my hairline.

I’ve used minoxidil products for about ten years, whoever said this was better then name brand clearly has never used a name brand minoxidil product, not only did this leave an oily residue in my hair which other generic and non generic products have not, I’d question if there’s even minoxidil in it. My hair started falling back out again after about a month, which anyone who used minoxidil knows if you don’t keep it up your hair falls out, I also saw this was from China. So I threw it away since it’s too late to get a refund, but hopefully someone else won’t make the same mistake.

For some reason, the foam does not come out very well. It's very difficult pressing down, and getting anything out. All 3 bottles seem to be defective in some way.

I am menopausal and my hair was breaking and falling out. It was so brittle just brushing it broke or pulled it out on the root. I had two choices 0 accept it or attempt to remedy it. I have been using many products, internally and externally to try and stimulate growth. I have been massaging different products into my scalp and scrubbing it off and on with my scalp scrubber. There was a buildup of product and dead skin cells built up on my scalp and I had no idea. No way any baby fine, thinning hair was going to be able to push up through that layer of gunk and no way and product would be able to penetrate it to get to the root of the problem. Hot oil treatments and this buildup removal is where I began. Six months focus on scalp and hair preparation. Enter the Minoxidil Foam. Now the real magic has begun. Only one month in and I am already seeing new growth along my hairlines. Little baby hairs are growing in every where. I'm so excited! The product is easy to apply. I just part into four sections, apply and then use my scalp scrubber to massage it in. I do believe the scalp massager has been very helpful in my hair repair journey and there is no exception while using it with this product. My scalp is clean and readily accepted the top quality ingredients contained in this Minoxidil. I attribute the prior methods to my having such fast results. I am a woman and I had no idea that I had a receding hairline. That receded area is now filling in with a dusting of hair and even that little bit is helping to make it look thicker. This is happening all over my head. Based on my one month use, I expect stellar results at the three month mark. I'm not sure if it is the foam, itself, or the hairs growing at the scalp that are lifting the roots to give me more volume but when applying this product I end up with a ton more volume than without. I don't shampoo it out before styling and it hasn't left my hair greasy. I will try and come back to update at the end of use for this. I am certain to reorder and add this into my recovery journey. I'm so glad that I didn't decide to just accept it as a part of aging. My hair is coming back strong and you can't put a price on that. Top Shelf Product, for me.

Don’t waste your money. Makes your hair greasy. Doesn’t dry fast. Not much of a foam when compared to Rogaine or Kirkland. Makes your hair look thinner
