I bought this book really for my son-in-law, so he would recognize the ways a girl looks up to and depends on her daddy. It is simply, but beautifully, written. I’m afraid too many parents spend time staring at their screens instead of spending time with their kids. One doesn’t get a second chance at developing a relationship with a young child!

My daughter loves this book and the heart book by this author! It’s well written and easy for kids or all ages to understand.

Beautiful story, well written and encouraging. We are hooked with this author. After reading one of his book we have kept ordering more of his titles over and over. We love reading them every night!

We have the My Feelings book and this book will surely be just as favored. The kids asked Dad to read it right away and Dad thanked them for such a thoughtful gift.

This book is absolutely lovely and deep. I especially enjoy the healthy bond reflected between father and daughter when negative and hard to comprehend emotions arise. It is a wonderful reminder to all tiny ones that your people are your people through the positive, scary, and negative. This along with Nancy Tillman's "Wherever you are: my love will find you" make a beautiful addition to families interested in making clear that their child has the deepest roots of strength and tenacity in the love you give them.

We love this book! I bought this as a gift for my husband for father's day, and our 2 year old really enjoys reading this. A lot of the things the little girl in the book does with her dad, my husband also does with our daughter so it makes it that much better. I look forward to getting more books by Jo Witek. I love the thought put into this book. The beginning is the father watering a small tree and when you get to the end the tree has become a big, big tree.
