This knife set is definitely eye-catching with its bright, almost toy-like colors that are even more vivid in person. It actually feels a bit unusual to have such colour saturated knives in the kitchen, but it does make it easy to tell them apart at a glance. Despite the playful look, I found that the knives were decently sharp right out of the box, which is a pleasant surprise.The blades themselves are a decent thickness and throughout the weeks of use, they still hold up well. However, I'd say that the handles are where this set falls short. They feel a bit flimsy and brittle, and when you put pressure on the blades, you can feel the handles warp ever-so-slightly, which doesn't inspire much confidence in their long-term durability. They are also very lightweight and slightly unbalanced so it's hard to feel fully in control.Regardless, in the weeks that I've had these, they've been functional despite feeling a little less durable than I'd like. If you're looking for something more solid and long-lasting for heavy duty work, you might want to consider other options, but I do think it's a decent budget-friendly choice if you need something distinct, reasonably sharp and lightweight.
