CIGA Watch
Beautiful quality piece. It’s an eye catcher but will not keep time unless worn daily. Like old school watches, you must tune daily.

Words simply cannot do it justice. This is a must for any collector and maybe a family heirloom.
This has been one of the hardest reviews I’ve had to write, simply because I’m genuinely conflicted. On one hand, the CIGA Design Blue Planet U Series is an absolutely stunning piece of art. On the other, it's not the most practical watch—especially for someone over 60, where vision might not be what it used to be. Aesthetics and Design First, let’s talk about its looks. This watch is truly a showstopper. I've never seen anything quite like it. The design is beautifully intricate and incredibly unique—it’s not just 3D in appearance, it is 3D. From what I’ve read, it has won multiple awards, including what's considered the “Super Bowl” of watch awards, and frankly, it deserves every bit of recognition. The dial features a miniature Earth that rotates to indicate time, and the craftsmanship is just next-level. It’s constructed with a mix of titanium and steel, and the transparent case back allows you to admire its mechanical movement. On the wrist, it feels great—well-balanced and comfortable. It’s a watch that invites attention and conversation, especially at social gatherings. It’s the kind of piece you wear to be noticed. Functionality and Practical Use However, this is where the watch’s charm starts to compete with its functionality. As beautiful as it is, it’s not ideal for everyday use. For someone like me—over 60 and wearing glasses—it’s genuinely hard to read. The dial markings are quite small, and while you can get an approximate read of the time, precision isn’t its strong suit. I also worry about its durability. I’ve been known to crack flat crystals, so a protruding 3D dome is practically begging to be damaged if worn daily. It's simply too delicate and precious for daily wear, at least in my lifestyle. Final Thoughts So here lies my dilemma. I love this watch. It’s worthy of a place in my collection, which ranges from under-$50 pieces to ones valued at over $10,000. At its $1,000 price point, the Blue Planet is worth every penny—as a collector's piece, as wearable art, and as a conversation starter. But as a functional timepiece for daily use? Not quite. This watch is art for art's sake—and that's a beautiful thing. If you're looking to stand out, to own something uniquely stunning, I absolutely recommend it. Just don’t expect it to be your everyday go-to watch

Stunning in all ways — including price
This is a statement watch. Stunning, really, in every way. Visually, it is a piece of art for your wrist that just happens to keep great time. It keeps great time in a very non-traditional, out of the box way. Initially, some may have difficulty telling time from the unique readout of this watch, but it is really very simple to understand and to read the time. The movement is an automatic winding one that is visible from the underside of this watch. The watch case has a fairly large diameter and is fairly thick — for me that is right in my wheelhouse as I usually wear either a diving watch or an Apple Watch Ultra. Taking into account those two watches, you may be able to see where my interest in watches lie. I use a watch more for function than for form. This beauty will not see the use that my other watches see as I really don’t want to bang up this literal work of art. Did I say this watch is beautiful? It is. For me, this is more of a dress up watch. With the exception of my Ultra, my limit for watches is about $200. This watch far exceeds that and under normal conditions for me, I would never have this watch as it is out of my budget. So, the expense of this watch gives it a four star rating. While I am certain that the value for the money is there (even without a date), that amount of money is beyond my budget for a watch. Again, this watch is über cool, stunning in appearance as well as functionality. Before I go, I must mention the presentation of this watch. Unboxing it is a visceral treat. The packaging is as stunning as the watch and is a treat to undo, layer by layer, including a small shopping bag and a magnificent book. A totally unique and well done experience.

I've never heard of this brand before but have been blown away what I've received. Starting with the watch itself it looks very stylish; it's definitely a unique looking piece that's very different to what I have currently in my collection but also very different for what you'll find on the market. But the finishing on this watch is very nice you can tell a lot effort has been put into its design. The detailing of the watch face is a lot better in person. The only problem I have with the watch face is that it takes time getting used to how to tell the time due to it very unique design but I also notice that in certain lightings the number indicators aren’t easily visible. It's also a very big watch so if you have really small wrist this might not be the one for you I do find that it's just a tad bit big for me, but it doesn't look too out of place. This watch strap is really good quality so it feels very comfortable to wear. For the price point despite being quite an expensive watch you're paying for quality and you're paying for something that has won awards. The only let down for me is that sometimes I find a bit difficult to tell the time in certain lighting. But I do love and respect that is a standout piece, but you need to be very careful when wearing this because of its Dome shaped glass it will be very difficult to find replacement glass easily. In terms of battery life I find that it roughly last about a day after wear. Overall I think it's a great watch and if you want something that's completely different to what everyone else has this would make a great option to have in your collection. Hope you found my review helpful.

Es ist eine sehr schöne Uhr, genau und sauber verarbeitet, aber nicht leicht ablesbar.

Wow. This wrist watch is absolutely incredible. It's certainly an investment peace and it looks amazing on the wrist. I personally feel that it may be a little too heavy for my dainty wrists but my husband loves wearing it. Straight out of the, very luxurious, packaging; it's very easy to use. The wristband is really comfortable and it's certainly a conversation starter. This displays time a little different than other watches but once you've worn it for a little while, you will get used to it - like most other things. I love how easy it is to read the time in the dark. Due to all of the durable materials used to craft this watch, I can see it lasting a very long time. It feels very sturdy and hardy (for want of a better word). Let's put it this way: the watch has had a few 'incidents' where it's been banged into a desk and a wall but, so far, I've yet to see any marks to the front of it. It's really quiet and doesn't disturb when put on the nightstand during sleep.

I’m absolutely in love with this Automatic Watch! It’s been crafted remarkably, with outstanding quality and detail that truly stands out. The design is not only elegant but also very unique, making it a definite eye-catching talking piece. The way the time is displayed is different from what I’m used to, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes second nature. I find myself constantly glancing at the watch, not just to check the time, but to admire its stunning beauty. This is definitely a watch that goes beyond functionality – it’s a work of art on your wrist! Everything right down to the display box is thought out and planned accordingly and although the price is quite high, it's well worth it in my opinion. This is a luxury, collectors piece for sure.
