12V 5A Lithium LiFePO4 Battery Charger (UK Plug) Automatic Smart and Maintainer with LCD Display for Lead Acid and Lithium (LiFePO4) Battery Scooter

At last a LiFePO4 charger that actually charges at the rate specified. Four load settings available for 12V (5, 10, 15, 20 amps) selection of the load is done by pressing the amp button - this can be done during charging. The display only stays on for a few mins, to check the display during charging, press either the Batt or Amp button - this does not change the current setting, only restores the display. Runs quiet on 5 amp setting - all other settings will start the internal fan - noise from the fan is low. Have left this on the high setting for couple of hours and the temperature of the charger does rise, but the fan does keep it from overheating. The only precautionary change I have made is to raise the charger up to ensure there is clearance under the charger - the feet on the charger are small.

Great charger, keeps my battery topped up and maintained all year round

I use these to power up my backup batteries during the cheaper night time electricity period. Initially I was a bit wary of the price but these chargers have two significant advantages over many others. Firstly, they can automatically sense whether you are running a 12 V system or 24 V system. Secondly and much more importantly, they automatically come on when power is applied. This means that you can use them on a timer to come on at night time. This basically means that these are a no brainer. Quality of the chargers is very good and they’ve been happily working with no problem at all for the last few months. Definitely recommend for lithium batteries.

Very good, Actually chargers at 20 amps and can run on a 650w suitcase generator so efficient.

Cracking job charging my battery back up while on hook up, unit does get hot though

I bought this charger specially for charging LiFePo4 Batteries, which it does fully charge. The quality for the crocodile clips, cables and charger casing does look good, except for the LCD screen that isn’t rigid, but soft plastic. The casing has no ventilating or fan, so does get hot, with a warning on the bottom of the case stating, ‘Please Be Careful! the product may get hot after long time use’, after about an hour of charging, the top of the case was 64° and bottom of case 86.6°. When the battery is fully charged the voltage was 14.16v, so this charger does charge properly. As for longevity, that is unknown, but assuming this as a long service life, then this will be a good charger.

Exactly what I needed, seems to work well. I charged my lead acid car battery overnight and it is currently topping off a 100ah Lifepo battery for me. very pleased

Budget Unit, Lead to Plug Socket is very short.
