Perfect for a small/medium sized room. Kept very nice and cool. It is loud but the noise doesn't bother too much because it's quite constant so actually ends up being background white you can sleep through.Annoying that the unit bleeps when changing settings though, that noise is enough to wake you up.

I ordered this just before lockdown and it was a great move! These hot, humid nights have not bothered me at all! Ice cool air all night long! I bought the £249 version which is a proper AC unit and no ice packs. My room is fairly small and it does a cracking job cooling the whole room down. I gave this 4 stars as it’s fairly noisy for a small room, but I’d take the noise over a hot muggy night any day!

Even though I'm pleased to have this in this hot weather I am rather disappointed it is hard for me to judge how noisy this is compared to other unit as I've never had one before it's not very quiet but it doesn't seem excessively noisy although I could not sleep with this on initially had a lot of difficulties connecting the hose and even now it is leaking a little so we'll need to use some gaffer tape where I'm really disappointed is itscooling ability although it is being used in a small to medium sized bedroom and has been on for a long time it is struggling to get the temperature under 28 degrees I also noticed that the lowest temperature you can set it to is 18 degrees there is also quite annoying rattle that the compressor gives off when it is on it is for these reasons I can only give it 3 starsPifco P41008MOB 3-in-1 Portable Air Conditioning Unit with Remote Control for Home and Office, White

Item arrived next day as promised and well-packaged. It is working very well and cools the air even just on fan. The aircon aspects on Cool and Dry settings are also very efficient and made the home much more comfortable in the very hot and humid weather, even though we had some doors open, meaning that it was working on a larger area than recommended. The one small criticism is that the tank doesn`t hold very much water before needing to be emptied.

This is my first portable Aircon. That said here's my opinion. Our rooms are not big and this needs to be on for hours before bed to drop the temperature just a few degrees, that said with 30-45 minutes even at the same temperature the room feels less stuffy/humid. The most annoying thing but far is the noise, I mean not only is it louder than a small jet passing near by but also makes the floor vibrate so you can hear it downstairs. If I were to buy another portable I'd consider spending more on a higher BTU that has oscillation of the vents (these are manual push), multiple fan speeds (this has hi/low both just as noisy).

I'm not normally one to give a 1 star review.I bought this unit to cool a very small room - 100 sq ft and was expecting this unit to manage this without any problems. Sadly after 3 hours of continuous running at maximum the room temperature only reduced by 1C from 30.5C to 29.5C and is not going any lower.I've used portable air conditioners in the past so I knew to carefully seal around the hot air pipe at the window, the door to the room is kept shut and the blinds are drawn to keep out any sunlight. I even tried wrapping the vent hose in padded, silver insulation to ensure no heat from the pipe caused a problem but that made no difference.Noise levels are good - any portable air conditioner is going to be noisy but I was quite happy for this to be right behind me while I worked.Cooling capacity is very poor. While I can feel cooler air from the front it couldn't even cool a small room. You can enjoy cooler air if you sit right in front of it but that rather defeats the point of having a machine that's meant to cool the whole room.I've also just discovered that I will only receive £4.75 of the £32.20 shipping cost to return this to Amazon. I am not impressed by this particularly as distance selling regulations in the UK state that any terms regarding paying for the cost of return shipping do not apply if the goods are faulty.

Great portable air conditioner which has really helped in this hot spell. Smaller than I imagined and easy to move around. As with all portable air con units the compressor is quite noisy but it cools down our lounge to a comfortable temp in about an hour.

Nice and well put together and would be great for an average size room,We did find it not as quite as some feedback suggested, We tried to cool our conservatory and found that on full power it was not up to the job,We would purchase the product again but not for the conservatory,
