Great Laptop, Great Value, RAM Upgrade Transforms Performance!
This laptop is an awesome piece of machinery for its price point. The AMD Ryzen 7 5000 Series processor with 8 cores and 16 threads, paired with 16GB RAM and a 512GB NVMe SSD, already provides a strong foundation. However, I highly recommend upgrading the RAM, which significantly elevates its performance. I personally upgraded mine to Timetec Pinnacle 64GB (2x32GB) DDR4 3200MHz RAM. This boost from 16GB to 64GB, and the frequency jump from 2666MHz to 3200MHz, offers undeniable benefits, especially for the integrated GPU (Radeon RX Vega 8 Graphics) and its Infinity Fabric clock. Now, I can run demanding software like Blender 3D and Affinity Design smoothly, with no slowdowns or issues. What makes this upgrade even better is how accessible the components are; simply removing the back panel provides immediate access to the RAM slots. For around $100 (which is what the memory typically costs), the performance gains are absolutely worth it. This laptop, especially with the RAM upgrade, becomes a powerful and efficient machine for both productivity and creative tasks.

Really good
This is excellent for the sims 4 playing with dual monitors. Plays all the older games too. For my cozy people this laptop will get the job done and allow you to do your work as well. Not good for bigger graphics card heavy games like bauldors gate 3 and eldor scrolls. Great budget computer for my situation. Meaning not a lot of money and my old laptop was dieing slowly. I feel like this laptop is going to be great for my work computer in the future when I buy a expandable desktop.

Great to Watch HD Video and get your projects done
I am not a gamer. I use PC for watching HD videos and spreadsheet work . I like a PC with a snappy processor so I can surf the web and get my projects done . This PC fits the bill for those purposes. I also like that I can open the laptop to upgrade memory and SSD. Everything is laid out in a way where you can get to components that you want to change out. Windows 11 Pro Included8 cores 16 threads. Snappy enough for my purposes.

Over heats dangerously in sleep mode
Handles my online college classes fine and playinging minecraft and wizards101. In sleep mode it over heats to the point it almost sets stuff in fire if your not watching it. Battery lasts about 2 and half hrs but really goes down fast at 2hr mark. No back lit keyboard its a lie. Dont get if your used to using sleep mode alot. May end up returning under warenty if this continues

fast, responsive, no issues with OS thus far
I was a bit hesitant to purchase an off name laptop, however we needed a gaming level machine for our son, and one that could handle him learning to code as well as his gaming habits. This laptop is more than standing up to those challenges. He is using this daily at both his robotics club to code and program their robot for regional competion as well as handling his game play and regular schoolwork. We haven't any issues with the processor, the speed, the battery, or the OS.I am comfortable with the way the machine is processing and working at this time. I feel that should we need to, we could find parts to fix anything that may go wrong with hardware as this machine ages with the wear and usage it is getting on a daily basis.Eventually we will need to move up to a larger machine just as his needs will require it, but this was a great purchase for his starter machine and it working better than we expected. Very pleased with the purchase as it it. It's been about 3 months in. Will try to remember to update at 6, 9, and 12 mnths.

Pretty great, particularly for long use.
It's powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 5825U processor, featuring 8 cores and 16 threads-what a multitasking and gaming beast. It promises smooth performance, in case of running demanding applications, streaming, and even gaming, thanks to its clock speed of up to 4.5GHz. Paired with Radeon RX Vega 8 Graphics, the laptop was surprisingly able to handle most modern games and graphics-heavy tasks without a problem at medium to high settings. With 16GB RAM, the laptop multitasks pretty well: I can actually run several browser tabs, video editing software, and games all at once without any sign of lag. The 512GB NVMe SSD offers fast boot times, and plenty of storage is available for games, applications, and media files. The SSD speed seriously complements system responsiveness. Then there is the 16.1-inch Full HD display, which becomes the prime attraction, with 1920x1080. The big screen size allowed immersive experiences in both gaming and productivity. Colors were vibrant, and viewing angles were really good, hence perfect for movie watching or editing photos and videos. Then there is anti-glare coating to this, which is pretty great, particularly for long use.

Powerful and fast
Awesome laptop for an awesome price. Buyer beware: it does come with an infection, so wipe the drive and do a fresh install of Windows. License key is embedded in the motherboard.

This is only to put it at the top of the ratings. the laptop is not what it seems
This laptop is only for desk work and or light gaming. Its most definitely not capable of running AAA games at ANY setting aside from low settings. The games I've tested are the followingSonic frontiers- 12 fps low settingsOverwatch 2- 60 fps low settings ( with lag from online matches)Call of duty warzone 2- unable to run due to massive capacityResident Evil 7- 25 fps low settingsIf a regular laptop for school is what your looking for then definitely look elsewhere. Don't fall for people on amazon that are using high prices to lure in unsuspecting people that can't understand computer specs. DO NOT BUY
