New Balance Women's Fresh Foam X 1080 V14 Shoes

Highly supportive and yet cushioned sneakers! Plenty of space in the toe box for comfort. These are my perfect walking/and everyday shoes. They are many color options. I wish they made a waterproof version - that would make it the perfect travel shoe!

After suffering from neuropathy and recently plantar fasciitis, I had bought a shoe called OrthoFeet, these helped very little as did the many, many inserts over the years. I mentioned this in passing to my pain doc who treats my back and he suggested I try the New Balance 1080, he wears his all day on his feet and during surgeries. So, I thought I'd give them a try. I have balance issues so the thickness of the sole worried me as I was afraid it might make me trip which is why in the past I have not tried similarly made shoes. Let me just say that the pain is not totally gone, (it never will be) but it is very much improved wearing these shoes. I can go for walks again with my dog and I haven't tripped once. I did put an insert in them for my high arches but other than that, they are comfortable right out of the box. The OrthoFeet shoe is not even close in comparrison to the New Balance 1080, I hope they never stop making these because I am a customer for life now. I find training and walking my dog, I do not slip or trip, the tread is great for grip. I like the style, they go with everything and come in many colors. They are made well, with good stitching and durability and they function as a walking or running shoe. I probably won't be running but I could..lol The price is a good value, especially compared to all the so-called orthopedic shoes out there that are considerably higher priced and they are stylish. No more old people looking shoes, although, I may be considered "older" now, I don't have to look like it ;) There isn't one negative thing that I can say about these.

I’ve been wearing my New Balance 1080s for almost a year now, and I can confidently say they’re the most comfortable nursing shoes I’ve ever owned. I work 12-hour shifts on my feet all day, and these have been a lifesaver. They provide incredible cushioning and support, keeping my feet and legs from aching even after long days. And they have also helped with my back pain. Before getting these shoes, I always went home in pain from being on my feet all day. But since I’ve used these shoes, even though I have pain here and there, it’s nowhere near what it used to be. The only drawback is that the white pair tends to get dirty easily, as most white shoes do. However, I wash mine weekly with bleach along with other whites, and most of the stains and discoloration come right out. I’ve even had blood and other bodily fluids on them, and after a good wash and an extra rinse cycle, they look almost new again. I always let them air dry, and they’ve held their shape beautifully after multiple washes. Even so these shoes have held up impressively well! If you’re a nurse or anyone who’s on their feet for long hours, I can’t recommend these enough.

These are so stinking cute!! More importantly they are extremely comfortable and provide a very cushy fit. I was really impressed when trying these on. I took them off and immediately tried on my regular Arishi new balances and the difference was shocking. My arishi have always felt comfy but after trying these it’s obvious that there’s a big difference . When I work I am on my feet all day and these get me through it without having sore feet or an aching back. I got several compliments on these and I agree the color is super cute! I can’t speak on durability quite yet as I’ve only had them for 2 weeks but so far I love them!

These just arrived so maybe a little too soon to review but hoping for the best. Out of the box and without socks they are very comfortable and cushiony. Toes have enough room and no heel slipping. I don't intend to run but I might try them out on the treadmill. I normally wear a 7.5 regular width. These are 7.5 and if you need more room I would recommend getting a wide. I have extremely high arches and these are comfortably hugging my arches which makes me happy. Will update this review if necessary, but overall very pleased. Also these are my first experience with this brand. I normally wear Nike.

These shoes have everything that I want in them such as support, comfort, cushioning, arch stability, and laces that stay tied. The only reason I took a star off is because I wish they were just a tiny bit wider. They aren’t exactly true to with. That being said, I buy these shoes regularly because they are consistent and comfortable.

I deal with arthritic feet, bone spurs, and chronic foot pain, especially on days when I’m on my feet for long periods. I purchased these New Balance sneakers looking for better everyday comfort and support. Right away, I noticed the cushioning and stability. They feel supportive without being overly stiff, and my feet feel less fatigued after walking or standing for hours. The fit feels secure, and there’s good support in the heel and arch area, which is important for me. These shoes haven’t eliminated my foot pain completely, but they have made daily movement more comfortable and reduced some of the soreness I usually feel by the end of the day. For anyone dealing with foot issues or spending a lot of time on their feet, these have been a helpful option for me so far.

These are the most comfortable sneakers I have ever owned. Started walking every day in recent months and these are a definite must. I did order a half size up after people commented they run narrow and they fit perfectly. My feet and knees no longer ache after walking.
